Before I begin this review let me start off by saying that this review is based solely on my opinion and my alone,so with that being said let's go!!.Ok let me be the first to say there is really nothing you can say negative about alcoholic beverages,we all know that is important to drink responsibly!!.. The reason I left off a star is because this particular location didn't have the beverage I was looking for...

First time at this Portsmouth ABC store and first time conducting an online pick-up order. The store is located in front of a large strip off the main road and is in a small strip of its own. The parking lot had a decent amount of debris. Availability of spaces seemed adequate for my weekend visit. I requested curbside service and confirmed with the store early afternoon. My purchase was a hard to find typically not available for purchase by curbside or store pick up. The staff said to call upon arrival and they would deliver to me in my vehicle. Once I arrived I decided to go inside just in case they had anything else interesting on the shelf. The store is small, but had a healthy amount of bourbon on the shelf. I did not see anything worthy of spending more money. The staff had my package bagged up and I had already purchased online. The employees were friendly. The receipt was attached. So an easy grab and go process. My score was a Makers Mark Wood Finishing Series. Grab if you see it. This store is far from where I reside, so I most likely will not return. The staff alone makes me want to round up, but the debris and size of the store puts them at a 3.5.

Great location... In and out...No complaints!Well I visited on a Tuesday with hopes of having my own Taco Tuesday experience at home. As a result, I needed tequila.I dropped off the interstate and headed toward this location off of the busy Frederick Blvd. in Portsmouth.This store is fairly new as well as the area itself. Portsmouth is still developing this area of downtown by adding more shops and living spaces. I am loving the change(s)...Well this store is located among other shops such as: Little Caesars, a Philly Cheesesteak eatery, Kroger, TJMAxx, etc and it's walking distance from Wal-Mart.I was in the store about five minutes searching high and low for the best tequila. Well I guess I was taking a little too long or looked like I needed help, because an associate asked "is there something I can help you with" - I said no... but after a few more minutes, I ended up asking, "which tequila do you prefer?" I told him I wanted it straight and something smooth and one that soothes... He pointed one out without hesitation. Now I don't know if he was 100% honest with me, but he offered to mention, "that's what I drink" - hmmmm ok. Well for $27+ I am willing to try it.The store is medium size in square feet, so more than likely you'll find what you're looking for or an alternative.I'd recommend you visit this shop, I mean it's among everything and less than a mile from I264.Parking shouldn't be an issue, I've never had one. But I haven't visited during a peak time either... this past visit on a Tuesday afternoon, it may have been three others in the store with me... Have fun and enjoy life :)
