Virginia ABC

Good luck this time around. Random visit resulted in finding my favorite bourbon sitting on the shelf two days in a row. All gone now. Must have been a recent drop. My first successful grab at this location. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. Store has always been clean and bright.

Reasonably well stocked and well lit, but as with all other ABC stores I've been to, the pricing is terrible and service was nonexistent. This is a terrible model for Virginia and I have no idea why they stick to it.

LOVE THIS STORE! Not sure if it is the simple fact that I live on the peninsula or what but I tell ya, I have never seen an ABC store that is stocked with such a great selection of quality beverages like this store. And this is coming from a former ABC employee. Not only does this store have everything you may want, they are super professional and nice. I make the drive to the Southside just to shop at this store. So that tells a lot. I guess the only thing negative I can say about this store is they need a bigger building, but the selection makes up for that. I would like to commend the Manager, Assistant Manager, Lead Cashier and staff for the outstanding job they do on keeping this store not only stocked, but a extremely nice selection. All the rest of the stores should take lead from this store because they set a great example. Happy Yelping!

Okay, time to give this place some love. I had a Friday even stop looking for some alcohol for my lemoncello recipe. I'll start out with the most noticeable thing....they take their Covid measures SERIOUSLY, and thank you for that. The store is plastered with instructions on mask wearing and where to walk and stand. There is a door greeter, and mask checker waiting for you the moment you walk in. And this lady did not play. She even corrected someone who tried to come in the store when he wasn't wearing his mask correctly. The store also was super clean, and smelled super clean. In regards to my purchase, the folks were super nice and helpful in helping me find what I needed. Mu checkout was quick and this visit to ABC was painless, and a success!Well done.

I get so irritated at the workers here. Every ABC employee acts like they are doing you a favor by letting you shop at their store and they are the least helpful people I have probably met since moving to Virginia. I prefer going to the DMV, because the employees are friendlier and more helpful. I stopped by to try to find a couple of bottles. I asked one of the employees if he could help me. I asked about the first one and after he huffily informs me that it was a lotto item, he turns around and walks off into the back room. No "can I help with anything else?" No "can I suggest something else instead?" Just huffs and walks away because he is too inconvenienced by me asking him to do his job to do his job. I left to go get the rest of my purchases from another store that doesn't hate its customers.

They always have what we need and with a good selection. Watch out for the people who pretend to not have any money who ask for money for "gas" to a car they don't have when they're sitting on a bike. The parking lot is trash though, HORRIBLY made. I hope they do a better job clearing out the lazy people who stand in front asking for money- that's the only downside. The employees are always happy :).

Hours of operation Mon-Sat 10am-9pm Sunday 1pm-6pm Friendly knowledegable staff. HUGE variety, if you can't find it here they'll direct you were to go or order it for you!

It was alright I found what I wanted but employees ain't shit frfr the cashier left soon as see she seen us coming up so we waiting she still never came we looking around for somebody I seen a lady I'm guessing manager she was white had like blondish hair and lowkey big she looked at us and kept walking they need to hire some new people
