Amazing wings and barrel fries. The wings tasted smoke and we loved the cheese and aioli on the fries. The wine selection was good. My husband really enjoyed the dessert wines they make in house.

It's not clear to me if this is still a restaurant as the website and when I visited for a wine tasting, there was no menu.My friend and I stopped in for a wine tasting. They are offering wine tastings on the weekends and usually at specified times per the website but the location was empty so they let us walk in.The wines are fruit forward but not syrupy. I prefer wine a bit drier but can see these being favorites at festivals or for those who don't love traditional wine. The wine tasting was $15 and we tried 8.

I enjoy the 25min drive to Vinter's for a quick tasting and wine pickup. The owners are welcoming and want to ensure you like what you are buying, so complimentary tastings always happen when we come here. Their wines are a mix of traditional wines like Zinfandel, Pino, mixed with different fruits and flavors. Definitely in line with my wine palette. I also love to following them on FB when they are offloading wine at special prices.

It's been awhile since I last visited this establishment. I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner when I went to the Coastal Virginia Magazine Winefest 2023. We talked about some of the changes that had occurred since he took over the place. I was saddened to hear that the restaurant part of the business had closed down because in the past, I had enjoyed several of their offerings. I picked up a bottle of their wine at the Winefest and wanted to try others since the White Cranberry Pinot Grigio was amazing. We made plans after realizing that the wine tasting had very limited hours (per their website). We drove to Yorktown from Virginia Beach and were disappointed when we got their and the establishment was closed. We checked both Yelp and Google and both stated it was open. We even called but no one picked up. Not sure what happened but to say we were all disappointed is an understatement. I will probably give this business another try in the future since the vibe, food and wines were all good in the past.

I didnt get to visit their location. I was able to sample their wine at a local wine festival and it was amazing. I ended up buying their blueberry (bear paw) and black currant ( black majick) both are my new favorites.. Will actually be back to purchase at their winery....

Wine made in-house that tastes absolutely delicious. I would have never known this cute spot was here had me and my friend not walked in to check it out. No regrets!!!We booked a table for a Saturday evening, whilst we were by far the youngest in the restaurant area, everyone was there for the same reason. To taste wines, and decide on what to drink a bottle of with our food over some live music. Our server was delightful; she asked what our favorite style and types of wine were and went on her way to come back with plenty of bottles to try. Now I'm usually a white wine kinda gal, and I like it sweet and fruity - I ended up drinking a bottle of red to myself. It was delicious. Black Majik (Pomegranate & Blackcurrant Zinfandel) & Bear Paw (Black Raspberry & Blueberry). Yes please. The food wasn't too badly priced considering it was fine dining style and all was presented very aesthetically, plus the goat cheese and parmesan polenta was to die for! Sadly, we weren't warned ahead that the creme brûlée was out... This place would be amazing for a bridal shower, or bachelorette, or even a birthday - have a private wine tasting! There's plenty of room! If you haven't stopped by and you enjoy a bit of wine, or feel like creating your own (yes - you can really do that here!) why not pop in?

This review is based solely on the wine. My gf & I did a wine "tour" here from a Groupon deal. I wasn't expecting much, but was still disappointed in everything. The cheese & fruit tray was perhaps the lowest quality items they could provide. I'd compare it to Kraft sliced cheese, a few grapes, cut strawberries, and crackers. See the picture for a better understanding. When given our wine glasses, I had to twice send mine back because of lipstick marks. Didn't like ANY of the wine served. The wine here just isn't good. We walked out without tasting the last of the sangria, because we valued our time over their products. If I will say one positive thing, it's that the food looked tasty.

Wow! Hats off to the chef for everything he made for us tonight. I wasn't expecting much when my wife said lets go to Vitners Cellar. Showed up around dinner time and there was a private party in the back area yet we were quickly greeted and served. My wife asked about sweet wine and our hostess was awesome and brought two handfuls of bottles that she was going to have her try out. The food was outstanding we all had different dishes ranging from prime ribs to pasta formaggio all delicious.I added a side of risotto because I was judge a place by its risotto if it's on the menu. I received and bit into this this delicious take on Italian deliciously full of cheesy flavors and hint of white wine. I really recommend!Ordered two desserts, creme brûlée and bread pudding both delicious!Just a tip everything is made from scratch so be patient and enjoy all the wines and craft beers in stock. I recommend this place to all my friends and we will make this a weekly habit.

The wine tasting was great with many different wines explained and sampled. We stayed for an evening meal and took a look at their operation. We loved the passion and dedication presented by this small but nice family business. By how we were treated it was clear that they truly wanted to please us.Our supper was fantastic! We looked at the menu and ordered when the wine tasting started and got our food right at the end. Perfect timing. The Atlantic Salmon was done just right and was a very nice sized portion. We were also happy to see that the veggies were not just something out of a bag but very fresh. The fried clam strip supper was almost double the size expected and the seasoned fries that came with the entree were hot and perfect. I always hesitate on the coleslaw because I am hard to please. This slaw was shredded not chopped and with right mix of vinegar to mayo. It was fresh and perfect. For us this place was a winner and we will return if not for the wines for a meal always.

The wine is basically welches grape juice or other fruit flavors. If I wanted Boon's Farm I would have purchased some. They are rarely open. Took three tries to go when they were actually open. When we got in the place and said we wanted to do wine tasting the waitress was lovely. Say us down. Told us the Groupon was a waist of money. Groupon says "50% off tasting and cheese plate. Normally $40, now $20 for two." My sister and I paid out of pocket for the two of us and it only costs $20 for the two without Groupon. Additionally the cheese plate they talk about is some butter crackers and pre sliced cheese on a small round plate, nothing like the pictures. The owner came out and complained that we were there. "We are suppose to be closed. We are out of so much wine." More people arrive and more complaining about having paying customers.Go elsewhere for good wine and a good time.
