Vinny's Italian Grill & Pizzeria

Why did we tip online to receive RUDE take-out service? The girl was rude from the time we walked into the restaurant. Then we had to go back in, because they forgot our pizza. The girl handed the pizza to us without an apology and would not talk or make eye contact! Visiting from out of town and will not revisit!

I popped in for a couple slices.  They're big, foldable slices which reminded me of the kind you might find in NYC.  I'll be back.UPDATE: I've been here a dozen times with family since my initial review. Bumping it up to 4 stars. We're always pleased with the food. Nice to have a casual place close to home.

This place is over priced go the extra mile and drive to New York... or Mechanicsville somewhere else .... it's barely warm and the pineapple is in one spot.... didn't need to complain the review picture says it all...

Super disappointed. Ordered lasagna to go and ended up with lasagna soup. The noodles werent even full sized it looks like pieces were just thrown in there. It has a think layer of cheese that's just too much. We also ordered the original calzone that's suppose to be mozzarella ricotta and ham. We literally got 3 small chunks of ham. The rest is all cheese.

Wonderful family atmosphere and great service. The food is outstanding and servers are welcoming. Prices are better than most other restaurants.

My daughter and I stopped there for lunch yesterday. Most of the tables were dirty. Once we finally found a clean table, our waiter came over. He seemed rushed and was the only person waiting on all the tables. I ordered a Strawberry Daquiri and my daughter a Pina Colada. I was really disappointed because I tasted no liquor, just plain strawberry daquiri mix. I put it to the side and just got a water. Thought about complaining, but figured it was a sign that I didn't need the alcohol today. So we ordered food. I got the Chicken Al Forno with mashed potatoes and my daughter got the spaghetti. We couldn't eat either. Chicken was thin and tough and mashed potatoes were sticky and overcooked. My daughter said here sauce tasted funny. Needless to say; we paid and left. They seemed understaffed and rushed, so I will consider my $62.00 a contribution, but I don't think I will be returning. Kudos to the waiter though, because he waited on every table in that place. I hope he is paid well.

The pizza is amazing and the chicken Parmesan is also great. We've never had bad service there.

Steak and cheese was horrible! I know that I can't judge based on my bias to Philadelphia but this sub would make and Philadelphian clutch their pearls and say wtf is this mess!! Do better Vinny's

Our first time ordering take out was great! our entrees were: penne pasta with tomato sauce and the Greek pasta. The food was hot, delicious, and portions were large enough for several meals. We will definitely be back!

We've eaten at Vinny's several times. Every single time, it has been so disappointing. The service is always slow and the food just isn't good. Their Caesar dressing is a weird gray/brown color. If you want Italian, go to Roma's.
