We grabbed take out from the new pizza place on our side of town and WOW! I did not expect to be as impressed as I was with the food. We desperately needed a good pizza joint nearby since The Pizzaria in Wards Corner closed, and the one by the water tower in OV just isn't consistent.We were planning to eat in, but the dining room is very very small. This is more of a takeout/delivery kind of deal. When we came in there was loud rap music playing from a TV (guessing music channels). It doesn't bother me, but it was cringe worthy when a mother and her young daughter came in to pick up an order. Luckily, the girl behind the counter realized it and quickly changed the channel.Now for the food! We ordered an 18" NY style pie with extra cheese (they have Sicilian style square as well) and a caprese salad (because if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it!). These people know how to make a NY pizza! The crust was perfectly chewy and very foldable. The sauce was a great balance of tangy and sweet and it was the right amount. We always order extra cheese - because we are cheese people! This place understands the meaning of extra! Yay! The caprese was good too. They actually seasoned it (some places don't ,which is sad). This isn't exactly tomato season, so the only thing I would change is seasoning the tomatoes first, then adding the fresh mozzarella, etc. and seasoning again. I did that at home and it was fine. It's obvious that they don't make their own mozzarella, and the olive oil wasn't the top shelf stuff, but hey - this is basically a pizza joint, not a Michelin star Italian place. I give them kudos for having it on the menu. The menu is huge and I hope they do the other selections as well as they do that phenomenal pizza! Time will tell.The service at the front counter was awesome and they have enough people working in the kitchen that the wait wasn't long at all. This is a GREAT addition to our area that just opened. If things stay like this - we'll be regulars!

Walked in this place on a Monday evening and a lot of people felt the same way I did....Either they wanted to try a new pizza joint or not up for cooking. It was packed! The first greet us and take our order was pleasant, patient and communicative. We had to wait a little but when IT's waited on patiently it taste better. They offered me some dessert before it was ever a complaint. The pizza was good quality and it tasted amazing. The crust was thin with a little toast. We will definitely be back here.

Don't order from this place online. Waited 2 hours and when we called to see what was up they got really rude and hung up on us twice. They shouldn't be on uber eats and I'll never try this place because of the horrible customer service they showed with the bad online order and how unprofessional their employee was. They deserve every bad review they receive so don't support this place.

The slices are most certainly NY style. Ordered a slice of pepperoni and a supreme slice and the appetizer sampler. Pizza was amazing and totally worth the tummy ache that followed. The appetizer came with chicken tenders, onion rings, jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks. The appetizer platter was fun minus the cheese sticks because there's wasn't any cheese to be had. first, the garlic knots only came with 7 instead of 8. second the pizza was meh. there was nothing special. Nothing stood out, not the dough, sauce, cheese, or pepperoni. the pizza wasn't really even foldable like NY style pizza. spend your money elsewhere. it's edible, that's all. I'll buy from Elation or Chelsea Bakehouse.

Do not order from this place through Uber eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, etc. You will never receive your food. Since they use their own drivers you cannot track anything and whenever you call them no one answers. My husband and I ordered from there around 6pm ish, it is now 9:30pm with no update and no food. We've called at least 2 times with no answer each time. Going on 3.5 hours for a Stromboli and gyro is just ridiculous. We live 4 mins down the road, it should not be this hard to receive 2 items. This isn't the first time this has happened to us, but you can bet it's our last time ordering from here.

Ordered a pizza for dinner. Order took 75 minutes to get and this was after a phone call. Order finally came and we received someone else's pizza ( customer name was on receipt) and also an order of garlic knots( different customer name on receipt) so basically received 2 different orders and neither was ours! Called Venice Pizza and was told they were'nt going to make our pizza. What a way for a company to start the new year! Will never order from them again!
