We stayed at this vacation condo as a getaway from the city. It is located in a suburban gated neighborhood, so very quiet and remote area. I noticed the neighborhood we stayed at had indoor and outdoor pools. Gym center, game room for the kids and a computer area to check emails, etc online. The entire area does have wifi and the rooms are structured like a vacation resort condo. Ours had a full kitchen filled with your basic cooking amenities, 2 burners, dishwasher, full fridge & microwave. The living room had a TV and fireplace that made way to the secluded balcony. I thought the area was very peaceful and enjoyed the two bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. Perfect for families & couples. Our room had a jet pool bath & shower connected to the master bedroom. We could see our car from the bedroom, so everything felt safe and convenient. There is even a washer and dryer for your clothes in your building to use. Our unit was upstairs where we found the machines. Overall, it felt like a home away from home. Staying there for a couple of days was definitely worth it as a married couple with two kids. We decided to use this space for ourselves & have a peaceful getaway from our daily norm. The only downside to the stay was the "driving tour" which is disguised as a sales pitch to purchase their property. Unfortunately it is a mandatory tour that you must go to & it can last for hours. It took away time from our stay and that was the only drawback for us. In this stay, be warned there is no clean up crew, so you are responsible to care for the things you use. Having a maid come in before your check out is an additional fee. Eating on site, there are no restaurants or bars. You would have to drive out to find food, drinks, etc. All drivable but not walkable. We brought all our food from home & cooked it at the condo. I would suggest doing this us to avoid having to go out each time you want to eat. Your condo does have a coffee machine with complementary coffee but other than that everything else, including water you will have to buy out. Plan well & you'll have a great time!

Some good, bad, and ugly about this place. The location is conveniently located to most of the main attractions in Williamsburg. The units are very spacious. Brought my dad, daughter, and nephew along so I had two units that had two bedrooms in each. The area amenities are nice as well. Grills, playgrounds, indoor pool, outdoor pool, hot tub, workout room, and a business center. Nice flat screen televisions in all the bedrooms. Fireplace heaters in the units were a nice touch. Units need to be renovated though. Old carpet, floors are permanently stained. All the the plastic furnishings were discolored from age. Every metal surface showed lots of Kitchen cabinets were beat up. Kitchen counters were chipped. My unit had a broken can opener. Stove and dishwasher had a lot of wear and tear on them. Garbage disposal didn't work as well. Unit weren't throughly cleaned dead bugs and spider webs in common areas and lots of dust. Looks like no one had been in the unit for a while. Overall an ok place to stay for a a few days but I wouldn't want to stay a whole week unit after they upgrade the units.

Just received a call because we won a raffle for a free stay. Travel coordinator was SO rude. SO pushy. and overall i'm just dissatisfied with the way we were treated. She asked for a deposit, which was fine however when we said we weren't able to make the reservation today, she asked if we had an "emergency card" to book it. Which is very unprofessional. Then ended the call when we tried explaining our situation. I can definelty see why they're promoting the resort now, and see why it's TWO stars. You get what you pay for and get treated like garbage ((: !!!

We are owners here and we're surprised at how old our room was that we received in an exchange. The room we had bought was vastly different than the place we stayed; I was rather disappointed as we did not expect a very old room. It does look like they are refurbishing rooms but ours looked 20 years old. The laundry machines were outside the unit on the second floor (the unit we bought had them in the unit). We were also offered to go to see their new place, The Colonies. We are going for the tour, get some free stuff, but will not be buying anything more after seeing the condition of our unit. Note to the managers, if you want people to buy don't stick them in a cruddy room.Of the issues we had:(1) The ice maker makes blocks of ice every night; we cleaned out the ice holder, thinking it was something like a power failure, but the next morning it was the same (picture provided). I cleaned it out and checked: after making ice water just runs into the ice holder and it begins to freeze another block.(2) Our kitchen faucet leaked if you turned on the water with the handle all hot.(3) There is a sharp corner to our kitchen molding. My wife and I both discovered it Day 1 when it "grabbed us."I have stayed at worse resorts but this seems far from an Interval Gold Resort.

My family got 3 rooms for the holiday. Since its off season the resort wasn't super crowded. Everyones rooms were in the same building which was great. This is a timeshare resort, but you don't have to own a timeshare to stay here. There is also a resort fee. If you stay here they will offer perks to come to a timeshare presentation. We weren't interested. Its located close to Jamestown, Busch Gardens, Williamsburg Outlet and more. We got a 2 bedroom condo with a patio out back on the 1st floor. The walls are thin so you can hear people in the hallway. Theres also a fireplace, dining room, kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and etc. The master bedroom has a shared bathroom with a nice jetted whirlpool tub. Its a good size. Theres also parking right out front. You must have a decal for your car. Theres also other amenities like an indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, tennis and basketball courts, fitness and business center all on site. Some things are a little outdated but this is a nice resort located close to activities and restaurants. Check them out!!

Finally staying here several years after our last visit. We are owners of Williamsburg Plantation. Embarrassing to see it has gone down hill since we were last here. We remember this place being very spacious and nice on the inside of the two bedroom unit. Not this visit. Our unit is very outdated and in need of repair and some upgrades. It's comfortable and clean and close to shopping and food. But that's about all the positive notes. Our "full kitchen" has all the appliances but it's a very small space. Hardly enough room for two people as we keep getting in each others way. Let's just say if we didn't t already own here we would not be purchasing a timeshare here at all. We couldn't figure out where the laundry room is. So I called the front desk. When I asked they hung up on me! I called again and asked for Tammy who works at the counter across from check in. Tammy told me the washer and dryer are on the second floor "in the common area". Sure enough there's a stacked washer and dryer in the second floor hallway. The resort supplies the detergent. Just ask.

Update to my review .. Our bathroom flooded, so Mx used ALL our towels to clean it up and took the dirty ones, leaving us with NO towels. We were told new towels would be delivered - now, 24 hours later, no towels were delivered yet!For attending a tour, as an owner, we received a lunch voucher. When we went to use it, we were then informed there is an automatic 18% "tip" on all VV lunch vouchers, which we were required to pay.As VVowners (in Orlando), this has been a frustrating experience, and we will definitely second guess our future stay at this location. We have also stayed at King Creek Plantation, in Williamsburg, with NO issues ... I suggest staying there in the future.

A very high pressure time share sell job. The facilities are really pretty nice and clean, but not worth it to endure a 3 hour sell job. Everyone was super friendly until we said no to buying. They couldn't have said fewer words to us or pushed us out the door faster. It's what we expected, but felt so put off when we actually were face to face with it all.

We are here for free stay for time share. If it weren't for the fack that it's free. I would have asked for money back.Master bedroom bathroom door will not shut. Ice maker makes little ice only runs water into fridge. Can't take a shower without running out of hot water. There is a soaking tub in this unit. Can only get about 3 inches of water in it before we ran out of hot water. My wife is currently heating water on stove for a warn bath in the small tub.Haven't been to other things on property. The pitch for time share was informative but rather pushy. Told three people three four people "no". (Their job to sell but hell"Not recommended.

Avoid at all Costs.I booked 4 rooms for a weekend in October. There is a gigantic legal warning on the wall behind the front desk that warns you that you are assuming all risks associated with staying at their property. I wish I had seen that red flag before booking the room. The rooms are dated and "so so." I pity anyone who actually owns a timeshare there. It is the definition of bare minimum, but - for the price of a weekend stay - it was acceptable. The problem is that I booked the stay through a third-party site. I elected to "pay at the property" and not through the third-party site. I always do that, because I book in advance and don't want to carry that charge on my account for months.Vacation Village charged me for the rooms when I arrived. Their charge appeared on my credit card statement. But Vacation Village refuses to give me a receipt, so that I can be reimbursed for the charge. They insist that I paid the third-party site, even though the third-party site contacted them and told them that I did not. They also cannot explain the charges from Vacation Village on my credit card statement.Because they are withholding my receipt, they are withholding over $1200 from me. And their customer "service" employees have been ineffective and compassionless Take heed of their warning. They mean it. Do not book here.
