After 3 years... I am still a fan of this circus. I wrote my initial 3 years ago, but I have been attending this circus for at least seven years and I love it wholeheartedly. This year... I was apart of the show! Yes, me! I participated in one of the 'family fun' acts. It was myself and three men... we were chosen from the audience to mimic dance moves from one of the acts. This was super cool and big fun at the same time. I must say if I wasn't before, I am officially the coolest mom ever and my daughter approves :)We attended the Friday morning show (10:30 am), the last Friday in July 2018. While there were a few seats empty for the most party most seats were filled. Some of the acts were repeats, but there were at least three different new acts. The circus celebrates 25 years of service this year, such a blessing and they are definitely improving year after year. This circus sets up under the Big Top in the parking lot of the Galleria aka Military Circle Mall. While the mall is barely holding on to a few stores, the circus still comes to town and does great with their ticket sales.I have no complaints... I am already looking forward to next year.Oh, this year, a new Ringmaster was featured. He was pretty good... not sure if he will be around for years to come, but it was nice to see someone new, he added a different flare to the show... an 80s baby type of vibe.Have fun and enjoy life :)

I haven't been to a circus since I was a kid, and it was definitely far different that I anticipated. The "big top" was actually pretty small, and the performance ring wasn't very large either. So none of the traditional kinds of acts like trapeze or ariel things. Also, because it was set up in a circle, the lighting tended to blare right in your face during certain acts. It was also incredibly loud - to the point that we were covering our ears in several places. Expect a LOT of overpriced merch - they were taking pictures for sale, selling food and toys (we got sucked into buying a light up toy thing that was $15!!) and that's all on top of your ticket price. On the positive side, the first half had a lot of wonderful dancing and acrobatics. But, we were sort of disappointed with the lack of animals (since that was what the four year old was really looking forward to). In the first half, all we saw were horses -- and the riders did some amazing tricks! In the second half we got camels, zebras and a pony.At intermission they had an elephant that you could pay $10 to ride, but that was also kind of annoying for those of us NOT riding the elephant since we had to wait longer for the second half. With a four year old who usually goes to bed around 8, and a start time for the show at 7 p.m., it was pretty annoying to wait an hour for people to ride an elephant to get to the next part of the show. They could have easily done this after the show or in a different area like some of the other purchase add-on options. The second half didn't start until 9 p.m. and at that point our kid was starting to lose it. We stayed for several of the second half acts until it was almost 10, but at that point we had to leave. Given that the experience is largely for kids, I was disappointed with all the down time that led to us having to miss the finale. Pretty expensive for a few hours of entertainment. Overall, it wasn't bad but I doubt we'd go again.

I purchased tickets for my husband and I from Groupon completely blind. I had no idea what this circus was about whatsoever.I was worried at first because the circus was outside in a tent instead of in a venue and I am extremely sensitive to heat and sun. I shouldn't have worried; while not frigid, it was comfortable inside and they did have cooling units going. The seating was tight. It definitely was a close encounter with the person seated next to you. The rows were very narrow. I had an end seat so I wasn't too uncomfortable, but my poor husband was squashed between me and another lady of similar proportions. The circus announcer, the ringmaster, was very engaging and entertaining. I found myself laughing through a large part of the show. And what a show! While not as large as some of the more common circuses, this one is definitely as entertaining. There were daring stunts and trained animals and clowns too! I really loved the modern music and the crowd engagement of this show.Really eager to take my kids next time they are in town.

We loved it!!!! I've been attending the UniverSoul Circus for many years and one thing I love is it's different every year so you will never say oh I seen this already. They know how to keep the crowd full of excitement & they even play mixture of music which keeps it exciting. This show is not centered around the kids only but also for the entire audience. My favorite part has to be the motorcycles/dirt bikes which did some very impressive flips in the air and had me screaming my lungs out lol. They also offer elephant rides at half time for $10 which you can't beat. I definitely recommend checking this show out. I promise you will love it!
