Two Drummers Butcher & BBQ Provisions

It's about time that Williamsburg had a butcher. I have had to go to Richmond and even Pennsylvania to get the cuts of meat I want. Today, I picked up Maple Duck Breast, NY Strip, and some Philly Cheese Steak sausage. Cannot wait to get cooking and to come back for more!They also have everything you need for BBQ- rubs, sauces, smokers, wood, etc.

As their website states, their parking is less than ideal. You turn down a little alleyway and have to really squeeze in. The owner was really nice and helped me pick out two beautiful filets that turned out amazing when I made them. They do have some premade things (stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes etc.) that looked pretty good. Their little store area had some good options for seasonings but I only needed the steaks this time.

Went there in 2022 and it was ok. Seating arrangements in back are was tight but food was ok. Service was satisfactory. Went again 12/24. Seating arrangements were better and service was good. Barbecue was disgusting, must have been scooped out of the bottom of the bucket. Consistency of mashed potatoes. Bun as mushy from water. Absolutely no flavor to the meat. Definitely not eating that again. Son has bacon cheeseburger and he said it was good.

This place is amazing! We get hamburger meat from them and seasoning. They are friendly and very helpful. The place is always clean . You must try themOut !!!!

Fantastic, so glad to have a quality butcher shop in Williamsburg! Amazing quality and price.

This is not a butcher shop. It's simply a boutique meat shop--no butcher on site.Two Drummers just orders in pre-portioned cuts from a restaurant supplier then puts them in the display case. That's cool but they shouldn't call themselves a butcher.A person should be able to go into a real Butcher shop and custom order cuts of meat to their desired thickness. Not here because that would require whole primals on site.Just basic stuff too. No seafood, no duck and nothing interesting in the sausage department.A lot of real estate is devoted to trinkets and impulse items, which seems to dwarf the little display case.And don't bother calling ahead because they don't answer the phone. You have to travel there to find out they don't have what you're looking for.

Didn't have the obscure items that I wanted but offered to get them for me AND told me where to get them myself! Wonderful customer service!

Excellent. These guys offer so much more than just outstanding meat selections. They are friendly, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable and love sharing their enthusiasm for good food. They took the time to helped me recreate a family meal from several generations back that brought back so much joy and nostalgia for us. Their dedication to customers is unmatched anywhere In Williamsburg. What a gem to have in our community.
