Twin Hickory Tavern

The 2 times that we have come here, we brought our kiddos and have sat in the booth section. We had gone here during the weekday between 4:30 - 6 and it can def get crowded but we've lucked out and got seated pretty quickly. Their food is served pretty quickly and the boys have really enjoyed their chicken tenders and fries. (My youngest LOVES their milk/chocolate milk drinks haha.) Anyways, the staff has always been friendly and our servers have always been great. I think also, because with my kids being so energetic, we always bring a bag of goodies to keep them occupied and distracted until the food comes (which isn't that long). Both times that I've come here, my husband and I would order a drink and appetizer to share. Food is tasty but nothing extravagant or insane to make (in my opinion). Their happy hour looks great so I wouldn't mind coming here during that time one day. Really appreciative of the hostess when we have requested for a booth and sat down pretty quickly. IT can def get noisy and the booths were have sat in have been pretty clean. Def a spot where we will return with the kiddos for a quick dinner order. Thanks!

Check your check!My husband and I visited for lunch. He had a burger; I had a BBQ sandwich. The server asked if he wanted mustard and mayo and he said yes. But we were shocked to realize he'd been charged 50 cents for each! WTH???And the fruit cup, which I didn't order, was another buck. So, while the food was good and the server pleasant, it was an unpleasant surprise. The manager brought us a corrected check without apology.

My friends and I wanted a fast meal, so we could go back home and watch a scary movie. It gets super busy here. Everyone is super nice and checked on us a few times. They have easy parking.I got the crab cake sandwich and it was delicious. We also got the chips that were delicious.The tables were a little too close together but the ambiance was nice and like a better dive bar but a little classier. I would come back too.

Two of us stopped in for a drink and dinner. THe parking is easy as it is in a strip mall type of set up.The beer list was mostly national brands with some local craft beer from Richmond. We had dinner there as well. THe food was pretty good... typical bar type of food. The only negative was that the place is really loud! It seems like the noise reverberates in the room. Our waitress was nice and did a good job.

Ordered to go as I live in the neighborhood and have been wanting to support local and try!Crispy Brussels sprouts are crispy and delish!! Didn't care for the sriracha honey dip it came with. Tasted more like Mayo and less like honey. The chicken tender wrap has the perfect amount of chipotle ranch, enough toppings and the chicken didn't have too much breading. You barely can tell it's on a wheat tortilla so don't let that intimidate you!!Will deff order from here again!

My girlfriends and I came here for Sunday brunch. I highly recommended making a reservation because the place was packed. Tammy our server was the absolute best, she was so attentive and cheerful and honestly this was the best service I've received in a long time. I highly recommend the carafe of mimosa, you can easily get about 8 glasses and it's only $20. We will definitely be adding this place to our brunch rotation. The food was exceptional as well.

Service was nice and friendly. Food was very average. Kids ordered pancakes and didn't like them, which was a first.

Loved atmosphere of this place. Great neighborhood bar and good beer selection. Food is well prepared but basic. The service can't be beat. I enjoy talking to the bartenders and staff

N parham location the food words cannot describe how good it was each of us enjoyed our menu Choice to the max. I normally don't drink coffee. I ended up having 3 cups. That's how good it was the only thing I would say it took a little bit for the order to go in and receive it on our plates, but other than that, I give it a 10 star

Food came out fast and was delicious. Service was great from VCU young blonde woman. Looking forward to returning soon.
