Twiddy is a great company to work with. Our home was clean, we had no issues with the entire process. The home was well maintained, the rental process is easy and Twiddy provides excellent communication throughout your entire stay.

Steer clear of this outfit or any property they manage!! We rented three houses this summer and upon arrival we were faced with loads of problems from water leaks, non operating appliances, dirty house... our other two houses have caused upon arrival our grandchildren to be injured due to very poor maintenance. I would be ashamed to rent out a property like this to anyone! And $5000 a week??? Let me tell you, their pictures online do not match what you see!!!Stay away!

We have had four stays with Twiddy and have found them easy to work with and responsive to questions.

There are cock roaches in the kitchen of our $20,000+ weekly rental! We had to purchase roach bait to combat the situation. No wonder, the oven hood range was caked with grease and the coffee pots weren't cleaned. Don't look too close as you will find lack of cleanliness everywhere.Update...found roaches in the bedrooms too! How could they not know that there is a roach infestation in this house!

Love Twiddy! Our family has used the platform for many years now to book our vacation, with great success. We personally love the Four Seasons community. Thanks Twiddy!

I've rented from Twiddy 4 times and always regret it. This last time will be my left. The houses are always dirty and run down. No one cares.

We do a big extended family beach trip every year in OBX (for 9 years now). Every year we have a couple more members to add to the mix and are usually between 20 and 30 people. We do a different house every year and this is our 3rd time using a Twiddy listing (have used several others in the past). Our smoothest, most easeful years in both pre-planning and the trip itself are NEVER with Twiddy and this will be our last year using their homes. Which is a bummer because they have, by FAR the best website for searching and booking homes than any other listing company we have come across in OBX. Oh well, it's not worth dealing with them. I encourage home owners throughout OBX to stop listing with Twiddy.From a renters perspective they are just too big, have too many fish frying and not enough cooks in the kitchen. There are delays in responses when there are issues, and somehow, there are always issues. Homes not cleaned properly, homes not ready when they said they would be, kitchens understocked with broken appliances, broken and/or filthy grills, changes to community rules not on listings etc etc etc. Somehow, when there's a problem it's never their fault (they are just listing/middle men, after all), yet they want the credit and advertise themselves as providers of fantastic family vacations. Renters and homeowners, there ARE other listing companies we highly recommend Outer Banks Blue, Sun Reality and Seaside Vacations. And to these companies, in case you are smart and read competitor reviews, take a page out of Twiddy's book and improve your websites to make searches easier and more comprehensive. They simply don't deserve the market share they have, and it's mainly due to their fantastic website.

Make sure if you rent a vacation home with a hot tub or pool that they have been serviced correctly. Our pool has no chlorine tablets (the container is a size that that should have 15 tablets). The hot tub on day 3 is green. No bromine tablets and the filter is packed with sand and looks like it is seasons old. Called Twiddy today and they acted concerned and said someone will be out. They said the pool and hot tub are serviced "weekly". It's 9pm and nobody has came today to service it. When you rent a house with a pool and hot tub and pay extra for those amenities it should be available to use. Currently chillin on the porch since we can't swim just wasting our vacation away. #Worth the Wait, Sandpiper Road Rental.

First time we'd been back to Carova Beach in several years and nothing has changed...Twiddy is still a first class service operation. Highly recommend their properties and their staff. If you want a stress free vacation, call Twiddy!Actually I lied, something has changed...they now have a fully-staffed tire refilling station at the Corolla location on the weekends. Now that's service!!!

My family and I recently stayed in an ocean front beach house December 22nd through the 29th and we were extremely disappointed. There was an issue with plumbing that was never fixed and we were greatly inconvenienced with workmen coming in and out on an almost daily basis. As well we were never told of a bed that was unsafe and could have collapsed, full well knowing we would have guests sleep on it. There was also bad mold growing on the slats under this same bed that was falling apart. This was an expensive vacation and upsetting that there was just one problem after another!! Our family will definitely be using a different realty company for our family holiday vacation next year !!
