Turf's Up OBX

Loved Turf's Up! We have been coming to OBX from Las Vegas for 15+ years and we are always in search of new places to check out. We saw Turf's up a few years ago and said we'd make it a point to visit on a rainy day. Today we spent an hour there and wish we'd booked more. It's so much fun! Our two kids (10 and 12) loved it. It's a great facility with every game you can imagine from golf to baseball, hockey to basketball. There's even a bar. Karen was extremely friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back. Stumbled upon this recently opened facility through a yelp search since my friends and I were looking for something to do on a rainy night during our vacation stay. They have four bays and didn't happen to be particularly busy tonight so even though we made a reservation we didn't have to wait to be helped. The owner Ash was very helpful and walked us through how the whole setup worked for all the sports. Golf, baseball, hockey, football, basketball, cricket, carnival games, zombie dodgeball filled the hour of time we spent across two bays with 8 people. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this for anyone looking have something to do on a rainy night or even a break from a day at the beach. They do have a bar with with both beers on tap as well as bottles so the adult beverages can flow along with the fun. We only spent a hour there with 8 adults but I'm sure with kids you could easily add on another hour but the cost fantastic for what you can do during the time you are there.

Great family fun for all ages! This place is unique! Video simulation, games, and the serve beer and wine. Great place to check out while visiting the OBX! Plus the staff was wonderful!

We found this place on a whim, on a rainy vacation day in OBX. We had a great time! Plenty of options for games and they serve beer! The owner and his staff were super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back here next time.

Awesome place, something for everyone. Went there today for the first time and will definitely return. Owners are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Had not made a reservation but decided to try to see when we could get in for a golf lesson,,,owner made time right then and there to give my son an hour lesson - DEFINITELY worth the money and time. Best place for families, individuals and groups for indoor activities.

Interesting concept - video sports simulation bays with limited bar service. Unique as far as I can tell, so there's potential to make a go of this. Problem is that there wasn't much assistance with the games (to be fair, it was on a busy night and we didn't have a reservation). We also had some periodic system crashes. Food service is pretty limited. I think they could get better with some tutoring on the games and more eating options.

My son enjoyed it but he's so young he did couldn't understand that the system was pretty terrible. He would throw something at the screen and it would either not register or be completely short or long. He rarely threw something that would be accurate. I played the basketball game and "made" the basket each time but the game would register an air all or miss. It was pretty bad. We were incapable of hitting the zombies in the dodgeball game

Outstanding customer service. Dickie and his staff our top notch and make sure you and your family are having the best experience. The BEST activity to do on a rainy day in the OBX.
