The smoked turkey leg is da bomb. If you want one call ahead because they run out fast. And the lemon pepper wings were tasty but a little salty for my taste.

Decided to try this establishment today. Love supporting my people. The gentleman who helped me was friendly and smiled. They have a good vibe and definitely work the space they are in. The pulled chicken sandwich (misspelled on the menu) was good. The bread was fresh, and they did not drown it in bbq sauce, just enough. The green beans were canned beans and not fresh and could have used seasoning. (Just opened can and heated.) I had 2 orders of green beans one was fresh out the can and the other seemed to be fresh out a glass of water one was dark skinned and one was light skinned. Thus, it makes me feel they are not consistent or big on quality. I would never give a customer food that looked old to the point that they would have to question if its edible. Mac and cheese was okay. They put sugar in it. I don't think sugar has to be everything. The brisket was not brisket. It's sliced ham. Brisket is cow. This was pig. Shameful that they served that under the name brisket. The pulled pork sandwich was ok, nothing special. And the souther punch was good. All in all, I respect their hustle and credit them for creating jobs in their community. However, I would just say that quality needs to be higher on their vision board. Hold yourselves to a higher standard and shine brighter.

Food is always decent, can't really complain other than the lemon pepper wings sometimes being too salty. The food is made to order so it's always fresh and hot!

I noticed this place opened up near me so I was excited to try. Especially since it was a local business. I decided on the pulled pork BBQ sandwich and french fries. It took awhile for my food to be prepared but I patiently waited until the pager went off to let me know my food was ready. The BBQ sandwich was soggy and the bottom bun was soaked. This was rather disappointing. There was also sauce on the sandwich which was ok. They also charge an additional .59 for cole slaw that most restaurants include as a topping for a BBQ sandwich. The French Fries were also soggy and weren't crispy as you would expect Fries to be. Hopefully the food improves. Honestly I have had better BBQ and Fries from other places.

Tried the pulled pork sammich, and it was kind of dry, but the sauce was good, a bit sweet but not too sweet, and it was a good helping. The mango water ice was very tasty. I will be back for breakfast to see how that goes, and if its good I will let everyone know.:=8)

Chuck who claimed to be the owner had a very negative attitude when I notified him my order wasn't correct. He argued with me for close to 10 minutes about crinkled French fries. I ordered over 30$ worth of food and he argues over 2.49$ fries. Does not understand his own system. He said I only ordered 1 fry kept adding it up then sat but it only says 1 fry. I explained to him he could potentially lose customers with such a negative attitude he still couldn't understand. He stated you said the food was good. Bad attitude is the reason many African American businesses don't last. No matter the taste of the food. Pictures show: Online receipt and order summary that was on the bag that contained only 1 crinkle fry. Chuck could not understand that it was 2 fries and was nasty about it. He felt that even though the amounts paid was equal to more than 2 brisket sandwiches and one fry. This only said 1 fry he doesn't understand his own system it says x2. He called square who had to explain it to him no real apology for his mistake he was still nasty.

Waited 2 hours for food just to not even get what I paid for! Didn't have the sauce for my wings I ordered, or the drink.

Off the beaten path. Grabbed a pulled pork sandwich. Absolutely amazing and nice price too!

The food it's good and the location is nice but the wait times are absolutely ridiculous.
