Found a part on car-part.com that was located at Tibbs.Called early in the AM and told them I was driving 5+ hours and wanted to make sure it was ACTUALLY in stock.Guy on the phone said that it was, and I started driving from South Carolina to Virginia.5+ hours later, dragging a trailer on my only day off on a Saturday. (mind you 11 hours round trip burns and ENTIRE day and at least 3 tanks of fuel).I arrive, walk in, and the dude tells me right away that the tailgate was sold some time ago. "Sorry".They could have called me back when they figured that out but they didn't.The vehicle, which has been getting prepped for bodywork for 2 YEARS, goes I to the spray booth tomorrow missing an entire panel now.So I'm out 3 tanks of fuel and 11 hours of my time and they don't even have the courtesy to ACTUALLY check for parts before they tell you go ahead and "COME OUt" to get them.Salvage yards are shady, but this place just needs to fold up and apologize to everyone.

If I could leave less than one star, I would.Stay far away from this place. We drove over two hours for a part that was not as described, and the customer service is beyond horrible.Over priced, broken parts with jerks who run the place. Pass on this one.

I searched numerous different auto parts places to get my mom a spare tire. I called Tubbs and the gentlemen were very nice and helpful. I spoke to Drew and Jeff. If I never need car parts I will definitely be going there first!

They usually have what I need for my 4Runner. Every part on that truck is expensive so I go to Tubbs when I need a part or hardware since they have the exact same year/trim truck as mine in the yard. They are curt and to the point and busy, but not "rude" in my opinion. They have junk-yard cats that will visit the lobby if it is raining (they have their shots) and at least better magazines that most doctor's offices while you wait for your part. Bottom line: You will probably find what you need there and get if for a low price, especially if your vehicle is more than 15 years old. They are open early and close late on weekdays and actually answer their phones with no robo-operators to deal with.

Oh boy, stay away from this place. They have overpriced parts and very rude on the phone, hanging up on me as I was debating the overpriced part vs. the store part. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Good I did not go to them to check out the parts condition.

I emailed these guys for a price quote, they got back to me right away. They were friendly over the phone and willing to help. Their prices were better than anybody in my area in Massachusetts with the shipping included. The credit card process makes me a bit uneasy, but their attitude was very professional. I would be willing to use this company again as long as the transaction comes to completion with no issues.

I called several salvage yards & was told by Jeff they had a spare for our 2000 Outback Legacy Subaru. He said theyd have part pulled for us. Its a 25 minute drive so we get there & are asked to wait. The phones were crazy busy. After 20 minutes my teen is getting antsy & he goes & ask Jeff what the process is as we'd never been there. Jeff seemed upset & said he'd take care of it. He was gone for a bit, came back obviously upset/mad. He dropped donut down & was visibly mad. We thank him & leave. Get home- it's wrong part. Hubs & teen make the hour revolution back with warranty time & no refund because they didn't have my CC with them. i call BS & wont go back & will tell friends. UNSAT!

The staff is rude and disrespectful I went there yesterday 2/10 long drive I just started to say I'm not finished but all they had to say is no we donnot have it I just looking for battery but he said bring your batterry inside the store to know what size I calling them but they dont answer the phone but when you go there they were taking to the phone for 25 minutes before they atted to you
