Newbie alert! It's pretty scary walking into a bike store and not knowing a lot about bikes, but really wanting to get into it or take up a new expensive hobby such as mountain biking. As a Londoner, I rode my fixed gear everywhere, took her everywhere with me and didn't need a car, so I'm not a total stranger to bikes. Chris was an absolute champ and made everything feel very accessible for me and my friend and I really appreciate that.He took the time to break things down, explaining what we would need as newbies to mountain biking, what is essential and what's nice to have just because - I especially appreciate that although today I wasn't on the market to purchase, he was still willing to provide so much information for me to walk away with to come back in the future. There was no pressure for a sale and I wasn't undervalued for not walking away with a bike, so I will 100% be buying from here in the near future because of Chris's excellent customer service and for being so approachable and awesome.The maintenance class they offer in store is also such a great idea for newbies to be more involved and hands on with their own bikes; will definitely be signing up for a class next year!

First experience at having my bike professionally maintenance. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. Alec did a really good job at amending a discrepancy.

Today was a milestone birthday for my son- the big 10! Don and the Trek team went above and beyond to make my son's day a special one, especially amidst all the COVID19 craziness. When I arrived to pick up the bike we ordered it was all wrapped up and ready to go without me ever having to step foot in the store, which is so appreciated. Readers, I went to sooo many bike shops, most of which were completely sold out of the 24" bike we wanted. I was completely unprepared for the lack of choices due to the current pandemic, to say the least! Don and the Trek team really pulled through today- so thank you guys for making my boy feel special! I was also extremely impressed with the hygienic environment, wide variety of bikes and accessories, and knowledgeable staff. I'll be back for my own bike very soon!

I am new to cycling and after a lot of research online and asking people that I know I decided that this was the place to go. The first time I went there I was immediately greeted by a friendly salesperson who was very helpful and asked a lot of questions to get a feel for what I was looking for. They even suggested a cycle for my shape and Bill and whom I was riding with and allow me to test drive the bike at Great lakes. After my testing they even came in and showed a few things that I may need but we're not necessary for just beginning. the second time I came back which was after a few weeks and looking around at other bike shops and Hampton roads I was very confident in my decision and returning back to the shop to purchase my first cycle. Again upon entering I was immediately greeted by a warm employee and was shown the same bike again bye another employee. They are very knowledgeable about cycling and not afraid to share some tidbits and secrets for new cyclists like myself. I felt very happy with my purchase and the salesperson did not sell me items I did not need and offer a few suggestions and stated that what they stated was not true please come back but everything they told me was correct and factual. I would recommend this place to beginners and people who are experienced in cycling. Thank you Trek cycles for your great customer service and products

They'll be happy to take your CASH, but if you change your mind about the bike and tries to return it, they'll tell you that they don't have cash in store and you have to wait for CORPORATE CHECK! How long before i'll get the check? WE DON'T kNOW? BE WARNED! The MANAGER cannot be reached because he is in the mountain! TERRIBLE?

Horrible customer service ~ associates act as if they are doing you a favor. Either they don't know much about their products or they are just too lazy to explain. Bikes have changed a lot since I last purchased and was hoping for information on what to look for in a bike. This shop is doing nothing to help the reputation of their products and overall business. Go elsewhere.

For a new store it is completely empty. The workers refused to help me so they could talk and joke around. I ended up walking out. I will never shop at this trek store again. The one in Williamsburg and Yorktown are amazing
