We just finished celebrating Easter brunch/Dinner today on a Saturday. We are first timers with Traditions, but I must say our family was extremely impressed from start to finish! We ordered takeaway Easter brunch that needed to be pre-heated before serving. We had a choice of shrimp and grits or salmon but since we had a larger order we were able to do half and half and have the best of both worlds. Ordering and paying ahead before the deadline online was simple! If you have questions prior to ordering just call. We had certain requests and were informed over the phone it was feasible but to type it in under the special instructions box when ordering. Everything was delivered as ordered and promised! No issues at all! Once we arrived we just called and the gentleman came out promptly to our car with a cart and our Easter brunch neatly and carefully packaged in sturdy brown handled paper bags. The kind gentleman showed us the reheating instructions and explained to us briefly the timing. He took care to inform us which bag to keep horizontal so it would not spill. It was stapled shut and handed to us in the horizontal position as well. Hence to avoid confusion and prevent disastrous spillage. This was greatly appreciated! The food was neatly and carefully packaged with each aluminum sturdy container marked with its contents. Once again very smart and greatly appreciated! We just had to pop in the entire container in the oven. No fuss, no muss. Most items ranged from 10-12 minutes to re-heat some 15-20 minutes.The quality and quantity of food did not disappoint!!Pricing is definitely not cheap but the amount and quality of food is without a doubt worth every penny!! Even better was that none of us had to cook! Win win!!EVERYTHING was delicious! But the real stars were the grand marnier bread pudding, which not everyone can get bread pudding right, but this was heaven on earth for sure! The salmon was cooked perfectly. It was flavorful and a good size. The shrimp and andouille sausage shrimp and grits were hearty and delightful! Crab cakes with aioli.. slap me happy with seafood -very good! The food list goes on and on.. and I'm not complaining! The mushroom quiche with goat cheese was another big hit along with the breakfast foods of honey baked ham with pineapples and pecan and applewood bacon. We are soo full we haven't even tried the coconut pie! Thank you,Traditions, for helping to make our Easter a pleasant one with our bellies full and content. Feeling very blessed! My family hired Traditions to cater their business's company Christmas party at Chesapeake Golf Club that was last week. Everything was beautifully decorated. There were Christmas trees, Christmas lights strung, and the tables were gorgeous with green and red linens and white chinaware. Along the wall was a beautiful display of hors d'oeuves like artichoke and spinach dip with crackers and pita points, cheese, and fruit. The dip was delicious!They had coffee, lemonade, tea for drink. The servers gave out the salad. It was lovely display of greens with cucumber and tomato. On the table were the boats of ranch or Italian vinaigrette. This also was delicious. On the far back wall was where they had the buffet style dinner. They had roasted potatoes, rice pilaf, and asparagus for the sides. The potatoes and asparagus were perfectly seasoned and cooked. I didn't feel the same for the rice. It was completely tasteless and left me disappointed. The main entrees were roasted sirloin with horseradish sauce and a pepper crusted salmon with mango cilantro. The sirloin was not really hot and also not seasoned well enough. The sauce was delicious though. The salmon was picturesque. It looked like it was out of a cooking magazine, and I wanted to love this so much buuuut my salmon was just a tad undercooked. I want to make this clear: everyone I talked to enjoyed their meal. I had someone tell me their salmon was over cooked. I had another loved their roast. And another dislike it as much as I did. There was a complete mix of opinion when it came to their food. Maybe it was just the menu selection that was chosen. Anyway, this place was great! I'd definitely come back again. The servers were great, the decor was lovely. Come check them out!

Rev and his staff are not always friendly and courteous, but also Service the best food service. Their locations in Las Gaviotas, Honeybee Golf Course and Cypress Point Country Club are nice considerations for any event, ant time of year! Make sure you stop by and say hello to Rev! Very accommodating!

We have been having a pleasant relationship with REV GUILL and the Staff @ Traditions Since 2011 when planning our wedding. Due to several family weddings in 2011 & 2012It was quite hectic (we had 4 in various Locations) Our date kept changing. Throughout All the changes REV & The Staff was so accommodating. Then the BIG Day arrived the only bad thing we can say about it is that it rained other than that EVERYTHING was WONDERFUL. The food was EXCELLENT The Staff so Friendly to us all just everything !!! A family member arrived to the venue early to take a personal behind the scenes Wedding video for us and the arrival of our family and friends. We could see all the time and effort that went into everything during the set up. On that day we were totally unaware of everything that went on..but just came out To everything looking absolutely beautiful. Looking back on the video..it makes us appreciate everything even more . Only thing we had to do was show up and get married !! The food was so good. I'm stillTrying to recreate those potatoes at home.. LOL. They treated us like family and out of the 4 weddings that year everyone says ours was the BEST !!Then Hubby and I went back on our 3rd Wedding Anniversary. The same Chef LEE cooked for us.. the FOOD Again was Marvelous !!! We just celebrated 5 years of marriage and where did we go !!! Yes.. Traditions!!. The Pasta Salad was so Yummy and yes LEE was cooking too. Then REV Came out to Personally say HI and took time out of his busy day to catch up with us, only someone who loves what they do would do that !!! So We the Taylors keep our Tradition where it began with TRADITIONS !!!

Highly recommend!! beautiful venue at the Chesapeake golf course, my husband and I got married here 9/27/14 in the Cedars ballroom, it was gorgeous, food was amazing and the staff was amazing to work with, everything turned out beautiful :-)

I love, love, love this company. Zanny Brickner was my point-of-contact up until the day of my wedding, and she is incredible. She is funny, smart, and honest. She guided me on headcount details, design details, and even walked me through options for the bar at our wedding (cash v open v deposit then cash). If you end up with her as your catering guru, you are lucky! I swear she is my sister from another life, we got along so well. She created a detailed timeline for the day-of, and it was incredibly helpful as the details start to pile up at the end and can feel overwhelming if, like my husband and I, you can't afford a coordinator to help plan the whole thing. Sean was the on-site manager during our wedding, and he was awesome. The entire Traditions staff at our wedding was polite, thoughtful, and helpful! There was a leak in a bathroom at our venue, and the venue didn't have a manager or coordinator on-site, so the catering staff helped us clean it up so guests wouldn't slip or get wet. They thoughtfully plated food for my husband and me, as we had a buffet, and they didn't want to make us walk through the line. They asked us if they should cut up our entire cake or leave the top tier. They helped us clean up our own items at the end of the night. Traditions goes above and beyond for their clients. I don't plan on planning a wedding again, but if there is ever an event where I need catering services, I am hiring Traditions. I'll share photos once we get some from friends, family, and our photographer.
