It's only $2.39 but not being able to contact Pirate's Beachwear to get it corrected pisses me off!Last week, while on vacation, I made a purchase of $59.89 for two sweatshirts. When I got home and checked my account, the amount had increased to $62.28.I have made a number of attempts to contact the store with no luck! The next time I visit OBX, I will pay them a visit.

All the girl is worried about is selling bongs to potheads. I just wish I never had to type those words but it was so true. My husband was trying to buy a knife for his dad that had a firefighter theme on it and she completely blew him off to help some Canadian's with their bong purchase. I can't even believe they sell bongs.Go to Wings or The Farmer's Daughter because this place SUCKED on customer service. Also the parking is RIGHT in front of the building so it's so hard to get out of it without being hit.

No. Just... No. Please, save your time and money and go ANYWHERE but here! Overpriced junk and the management is completely rude and unprofessional. My experience here was so horrible, I don't even want to talk about it. I actually hate that I have to give this place one star.

Don't go here! Used to be an OBX must stop but not now! Signs outside say entire store is BOGO. Until you get to the register and the guy yells at you that the two things you're buying are not BOGO because one is already such a good deal. Overpriced junk, rude management. I felt like I was in Manhatten, not in Kill Devil Hills.

We go to the Obx every year at the end of August. It was time to buy new boogie boards this year. Every other store I went to had ridiculous prices (and it's the end of August!). This store advertised "everything 50% off," which I know is a popular gimmick. However, their better quality boogie board prices were the same as everyone else (roughly $35-$50 depending on size), but they were 50% off. I paid $17.50 for one and $20 for another. I almost bought one for $36.99 at a store just down the street from this one. I'm glad I checked here. The hours are unpredictable. They seem to open around 9 AM and close around 9 PM during the season. A lot of their things are marked up so the 50% off deal is not really a deal. However, I thought their prices on boogie boards, rash guards, and T-shirts were fair. I took off one star for their marked up sunscreen ($22!) and unpredictable hours. Otherwise, I really like this shop.
