Tortugas Cafe and Tiki Bar

Such a fun, relaxing, and beautiful scenery place! The food is yummy and we definitely recommend the bbq pulled pork tacos or taco salad!

Where do I begin? We ate here for my birthday lunch. This restaurant was connected to our hotel Ocean Beach Club which was great! The outside seating is the best because it's located right near the beach. In my opinion their crab dip needed a lot of seasoning but it was decent. They just kinda threw old bay seasoning there. The customer service was pretty decent. I ordered a BQQ sandwich without the bread and was told it came with chips and it didn't come with chips but just a pickle and a small cup of slaw. I also got two frozen drinks. Overall I thought this place was very expensive for the flavor of food. My boyfriend and I ordered a meal, one appetizer and two drinks each and it was about $112. In my opinion, not really worth it but the view was great and the drinks were good!!

My husband and I came here for a adult beverage and some pulled pork nachos Monday afternoon after our plans changed and I am so happy we did ! Our waiter was 100% amazing , immediately brought us water with lemon , checked on us often , brought plenty of napkins and was really a kind guy ! Now for the pulled pork nachos - they were the best nachos we have ever had --- YUMMO ! Our adult beverages were delicious as well ! We also had a beautiful view of the ocean and a musician was playing beautiful music nearby --- I highly recommend this amazing establishment----

Friendly service even when it was crowded and our server was taxed with a lot of tables. The beachfront location made up for the noisy din, so there was good energy while we ate. Had a good mix of salads, fish tacos and carnitas bowls to go with tasty mixed drinks. Compared to some of the other beachfront restaurants in the north end of the boardwalk, Tortugas has very reasonable pricing.

Food was cold. Nachos were stale! Buffalo dip was soupy, Lettuce was wilted. This restaurant isn't worth writing a review. They got my money & time, Two things I can't get back. Patron at your own risk!!!!Oh! An the SERVICE was even WORST! Anthony didn't seem to want to work!!!!

Was okay. Nice outdoor atmosphere. They let doggies on the patio, which is nice, because the a-holes at the brewery next door won't.Very slow service - because it's late in the season, and they're very understaffed. Individual workers worked very hard.Food was decent if not inspired. The Caribbean beef seemed like burnt ground beef with extra pepper. The nachos were fair, salads fresh. Kids ate their food, so I guess they liked it.Beers were good. Not a whole lot of variety but what they offered was good.Spendy, but everything on the beach is spendy.

We finally found a tiki bar and had the best time. Our waitress Raven was awesome. We only had drinks and they were pretty good and not too pricy. I enjoyed my time and the ambiance was great.

Wow what a great location. We rode our bikes up and down the pier and then decided to park up and stop in. We had a high top which gave us a great "people watching" view as well as the beach. The weather was spectacular and i lloovveee good music but the food was a bit mediocre. Due to their location i was hoping they had more of a islandy restaurant feel to it (shrimp cocktail, wraps, salads, etc) but the food was very bar like (nachos, chicken wings, quesadilla, etc.)They were out of the crab dip so we ordered the Spicy Buffalo Dip, the flavor was honestly really good but wow i have to say it was EXTREMELY oily/greasy. As we ate i had to pour/spoon out the oil that was just sitting in top. We also ordered boneless wings aka chicken nuggets, lol. Those were actually REALLY GOOD!! We got mango habanero and i wasn't too spicy at all. Lastly we ordered a jumbo margarita in a souvenir glass. It was good BUT i felt there wasn't much alcohol very lemon/limey but it was ok we still had 6mi to ride. Lol.

Um. . .so last night we had a quick dinner at Tortugas, but we had to leave in a hurry after a couple of rats were seen running around in the bushes next to the outdoor dining tables. I know that eating outdoors inevitability involves some contact with nature and wildlife, but these rats were too much for me (as well as several other diners who saw it and left!) Rats! Yuck!

Food was pretty good. Tacos and quesadilla was good. Location like most places on the strip is excellent. Service wasn't good at all though. Drinks were forgotten, had to get my own place settings at the bar, given and charged for drinks we didn't order. Overall attitude from the gentlemen wasn't good, seemed like he hated his job. Not a good vibe.
