Top Rack Marina

Wanted to use Top Rack and it's such a great idea but for a 24 ft boat with cover being 10ft tall and a beam of 8'5" equals to a $580 a month for a 12 month and $640 a month for a 4 month contract. Yikes! Cost more to park the boat than the loan, insurance, and maintenance of the boat. I get it, they provide something for those who can't park it at their house and the convenience of it being ready for when you arrive/leave but I bought a boat to enjoy and not to be bankrupt. That is just the start, see picture for additional costs. Even from talking to staff Top Rack is raised their costs significantly and changed their rates to where it's no longer inclusive pricing and everything is set up as additional costs.

I recently bought a 28ft Sea Ray Sundancer from the brokerage department of Top Rack Marina. I will say this Buyer Beware. The broker gave me a list of items and maintenance records from previous few years. Then suggested very highly I buy a survey from a buyer who backed out of buying the boat a week prior to me. No major red flags in survey, cosmetically boat looked good for it's age.Take delivery of boat, takes multiple attempts to start boat, I take the boat back to Tidewater Yacht club and as I'm backing into slip, boat cuts off, will not start. Get boat in slip.Have mechanic come look at it, bad fuel he says, pay a company to come clean fuel. Fuel is good. Says it's the sending unit. Have another mechanic come look at it.Boy oh boy, the list won't stop, the New Outdrive, never been replaced, broker said it was. The list goes on and on. Im now at $32000, in repairs, still not running correctly.Contact broker about the issues. Her response boat was fine when you left, if outdrive is bad, make a insurance claim since you must of hit something. Hummm, sounds like what she previously told me the previous owner had done. Just always cover your butt. The ones you think you can trust are the worst ones.. Think before dealing with them

I wanted to write this review to thank Brian for his outstanding assistance to our tug boat, EMERALD COAST.At 1730 April 21, 2021, my Mate receives a call from his wife in Florida that his child is not breathing and being taken to the hospital via ambulance. A mad scramble ensues onboard between crew and the Dann Marine office to find him a flight or rental and a place to get him off the boat. We were told the gates were locked at our current location and we would have to find another place to get him ashore.I look across the river and see TOP RACK MARINA. I call their number and Brian answers. I explain the situation and that I know their docks are not made for a vessel our size but would like permission to try to get my Mate off and on his way to the airport. He grants permission and we get ready to turn lose from our barge and make our way over.Brian calls me back and says there is a way to get the Mate ashore where we are, which would be safer, and he would be waiting outside that facility in his truck to either get the Mate to where he could get an Uber or take him to the airport himself.Brian and the crew of the EMERALD COAST have never met, we were not his customers, and he had no obligation to do anything, yet he did.He arrived just like he said and took the Mate out to a populated area where he could safely get an Uber, stayed with him to make sure he could, and informed me he was safe.Brian, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Please let us know if we can do anything for you. If your willing to do this for strangers, I can't imagine how good your customer service is. We will always be grateful.Thank you for your selfless service in our time of need,EMERALD COASTP.S. : Like other business owners, Brian has been financially affected by COVID restrictions. If your a small boat owner, show this man some love, lets keep that business going, be safe, and remember all commercial traffic is on VHF 13. Please Monitor so we don't endanger each other.

We love this place! Top notch customer service. We call when we leave the house and are able to hop in the boat and go! Makes owning a boat a breeze! Brian the manager is amazing, always available and extremely helpful and of ccurse all during COVID!

I tried to get fuel there and was turned away, as a yacht delivery Captain I bring a lot of vessels through here and this season was planning on using top rack for a fuel stop. I came through first week of May and when I approached and called on the radio I was told to keep it going that the vessel was too large. The vessel was 65' and it may have been sticking out a bit however it would have been fine for a fuel stop. I needed 1000 gallons of fuel. I am now on my 4th yacht delivery up north for the season and bringing a 55' by there tomorrow no thanks I will take my business elsewhere and pass it along to the yachting community to carry on and support decent marinas that welcome transients and their money.

The best marina in town, without a doubt. Marina staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The property is beautiful and the restaurant is delicious. The deli staff are very friendly.
