Lovely ladies working in the store. But I felt like I had been robbed. Was desperate as the small grocery in Duck had just closed. $7.99 for a quart of half and half and $10 for a quarter pound of coffee - the only ground coffee sold in the store. That's $40 per pound. And then there was a prompt to give a tip when checking out! Will not go back.

Disappointing experience this time around. It had been over 15 years ago when there was fresh bagels sold and a great selection of fresh fish. All provided by the previous owners. They are advertised as being open at 9:30am but without notice opened at 10am so we waited another 30 minutes only to be disappointed but Tullio's Bakery in Duck was a great pastry shop and bakery where we found delicious bagels, donuts and pies.

Always enjoy the sandwiches from Tommy's. The homemade desserts are great too! I come back every visit to Duck!

I remembered this market from a prior visit. So I popped in there today, around 5:00 pm on a Monday. They close at 6:00. I was hoping to pick up a few necessities for our three night stay. The frozen food case was pretty limited. I did find some beer in the back, and a quart of milk. There was no butter or margarine, and no prepared food or sandwiches. I bought some broccoli salad at the deli counter and found some granola. They did have a case with some good looking beef, and some fresh vegetables. So if you are going to grill or cook, they may have what you want. If you are looking for something prepared, you will be disappointed.

We have always had a great experience at Tommy's. They have some of the best cuts of meat we have had. Awesome strips and ribeyes. Others say the filet is excellent but I have never had it. Great selection of marinades and spices as well. They are very knowledgeable and will help with any question you have.

I've passed this cute little store for years but have never purchased anything significant until today. We were staying just across the street and wanted a small sandwich for lunch. This is Duck's version of a small "Whole Foods" but with a friendly atmosphere. There's a large deli inside that sells Boar's head(my fave grocery brand). There have a very organized method of ordering. We completed our self serve order forms that including bread, meat, cheese and condiment selections! I loved the customization. So one choice of meat was $6.99 and 2 choices was $9.99. They offered an Italian which was actually 3 choices but we only paid $6.99. We ordered on sub rolls. These were pretty hearty. It's like Pot Belly on steroids. This was so yummy and fresh. I couldn't see myself ordering a takeout Sammie across the street and paying $12. Kudos to this cute market!Extra stars for their selection of Tate's cookies! I have never seen a store with that kind of variety. Yes, my GF friends, there was an entire shelf just for you!

I bought a peach pie and a berry pie and a loaf of bread. It was all really good. I love the pie crust and the crunchy sugar on top. The fruit filling was also great, not too sweet . The bread was way too good. It was perfect with our stew. I didn't have time to look around too much and had really just gone in for the pies bc my friend was craving about them so I'm looking forward to seeing what else they have to offer. The staff were very helpful and super friendly.

So pleased Tommy's is going under new management spring '24. Wishing them great success. The previous two " owners" were not grocers. The negative comments would be more however many just stopped going to the so called store.

The shop is cluttered and confusing. Went in to get a sandwich and what I received was a mediocre Roast Beef sandwich on an extremely stale Brioche roll. Couldn't figure out where to pay so I asked the Guy working behind the Deli counter. He was rude and condescending. I assumed he was the owner' son being made to learn the business the old fashion was vs. just being handed the business. Really acted like my question was an imposition. Never again!
