Tokyo Japanese Steak House

Chose to sit at the bar and happy I did. The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered a rainbow roll and also a mango roll that I switched out the shrimp, with tuna, again, a great substitution. Then the sushi chef sent out a tasty treat, that I gobbled up because it looked delicious. A mango and tuna mix in a sushi roll shaped like an ice cream cone. Loved it. Years ago, the front bar area was a staff pass through area. Great upgrade and use of space.

I've been here twice now & the service is always top tier, when walking in the restaurant is very dimly lit with a bar straight ahead and seating to both sides. There is also a sushi bar (behind the main bar). When talking menu it is your typical hibachi style offerings. We got hibachi chicken and fried rice, which automatically comes with a hibachi shrimp appetizer (2 pieces). Our chef was super sweet & so quirky, he made us laugh with his jokes & never seemed to miss a beat while cooking! He seemed to really love what he does which showed in his skill set and final product. Our food was super delicious, I just wish less rice was given and more chicken added but nonetheless we enjoyed our visit very much! We will come back over and over again!!!

Be Aware! they tip themselves $22 on " Specail Occasions" without your knowledge.I've never seen this done before even a the nice and expensive restaurants I've dined at. This is not right at all.

Price is average for industry. Please go to another hibachi restaurant, sushi king was better and less money. Service was prompt and polite though. I ordered the Hampton roll and it was imitation crab, I know it's commonly used but the taste was mid. Hibachi could have been seasoned better but for $30 steak and shrimp, it left much to be desired.

My family and I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Tokyo has very delicious drinks, sushi and food, and the chefs are very entertaining. Tokyo gets very busy so reservations are highly recommended.

Do not go a roach fell onto grill as we where ordering food. The workers were even grossed out place is run down.

Great service & the cook was super entertaining. I ordered the scallops & they were cooked to perfection. The rest of the table was completed satisfied as well with the chicken, filet mignon, & salmon. Definitely get the sauces. The hot tea was delish & came in a beautiful tea pot. I'd definitely go back.

Watch your bill carefully. The sign said tips automatically added to parties of five or more. We were a group of three and they added a 20% tip into the itemized bill. The credit card receipt provided a place to add a tip, with suggested dollar amounts for 18% 20% or 22%. Had I done an additional 20% on top of the credit card total (food, tax, the first tip) The net affect would've been a 44% tip overall. I understand if you choose to make tips mandatory. I don't like it but I understand it. But don't add a tip without telling me, and then asked me to tip 18% to 22% on top of that. At best, you're taking advantage of people who aren't paying attention. At worst it's just fundamentally deceit.

Some very scary bathrooms for an establishment that serves food. Dish town wrapped on pipe to flush in the ladies and the smell was revolting. Food seemed ok but whenever I see a bathroom that bad you can't help but wonder about the kitchen.

Wait staff was amazing for being short staffed, food was good. Really good portion size. Cook was funny. Place was pretty small but got us in fast. 10/10 recommend.
