Toast is great little place to visit for a drink, snack or a satisfying dinner. There are a lot of great selections for everyone. Toast offers vegetarian and gluten free options. Our group of 4 had reservations for 7:00 on Saturday the place was busy at that time and still busy toward the end of our visit. Prepare to take food home to enjoy later, the portions are generous. Our server was efficient, friendly, we were never rushed. Our group shared a couple appetizers - fried pickles/jalapeño peppers and sweet potato tots. The appetizers were tasty treats and the right size for four adults. I was intrigued by the different smoked drinks on the specialty drink menu. Old Fashioned cocktails are one of my favorites and I was a little disappointed with mine this time. The only thing I tasted was bourbon. I was ok with it because I like bourbon, but really enjoy a good old fashioned and this was nothing like a "good old fashioned". My friend agreed that there must have been an error since he had a better properly formulated old fashioned during a previous visit. We all were thrilled with the flavor and presentation of our entrees. Our server checked on us periodically and supplied take home boxes for our leftovers. My friends said that the gluten free pizza (during a previous visit) is excellent. Toast is high on my list for a revisit and has a high recommendation for my Yelp friends.

Nice place for brunch. I was visiting my aunt who lives in the neighborhood and we decided to get a nice Sunday brunch. While the place was crowded, we were able to get a table pretty quickly. Nice selection on the menu but Auntie and I locked in on the crab cake Benedict. So we both ordered it and enjoyed it very much. Service was good. Attentive but not intrusive. The only downside was how noisy it was. It was hard to hear Auntie across the table. Some acoustical tiles might be helpful.

Been wanting to try Toast for a long time just for the Pimento Cheese Wontons on their menu. The wontons ended up being delicious, but the rest of the food missed the mark a bit. Service was awesome though! Super attentive without being intrusive, welcoming, accommodating. We got the Pimento Cheese Wontons, Fried Jalapeños and Pickles, Pesto Caprese Panini, Harvest Salad, and Margherita Pizza. Our server informed us Tuesday was BOGO Pizza day so we got to take home a cheese pizza for no additional charge! The wontons were yum - hot, crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, and served with a Thai sweet chili sauce. The salad was also delicious, with a tangy tasty dressing and good proportion of leaves to toppings. However, we were not impressed with the fried jalapenos and pickles - they were just ehh, while super crispy, a little underwhelming and unseasoned. The pizza was good! Decent, better than we expected. The sandwich was just okay, most of the toppings were falling out and was overall lacking a ton of flavor.Love that they have a ton of veggie options! Would come back here if friends suggested it as there is definitely something for everyone.

I went here for brunch and the menu looked very promising. Not all of the food was up to par to my standards (the hashbrowns were soggy instead of crispy) but our appetizer of the housemade donuts were the most delicious! They were blueberry donut holes (not sure if this is seasonal) but definitely a must try. There was not much ambiance as the building I think was just reused from an older italian resturaunt but we were seated and served quickly!

I have eaten here a couple of times and enjoy my visits. I usually meet a friend here because it's half way between our areas. The food is good and the service is consistently good. They have a nice outside area but unfortunately on the two times I have visited, the weather wasn't suited to sitting outside.

Toast never disappoints! Their specials are always changing, and the gluten free options are great for my wife. The bourbon selection is amazing and what brings me back pretty regularly. Great food, great drinks, and always a great experience!

Made a reservation for brunch and we were seated quickly. Food came quickly too and our server was kind. The peach Bellinis were generously made which was appreciated. They have a kids menu for brunch which we also were happy about. I got the Chesapeake omelette and got hollandaise on the side. It was good overall. The eggs were more cooked than I usually like. The biscuit was kind of dry. My husband got the huevos rancheros which was a lot of black beans and didn't have as much eggs as anticipated. The chicken fingers were good and came out piping hot! Nice breading and a hint of delicious crispness. Fruit was fresh and plentiful on the side. Other members of our party got the Turkey and avocado sandwich, chorizo tacos, and pork Benedict. All were good and plated beautifully, but lacking seasoning. Service was wonderful and although the restaurant was packed it wasn't too loud and we enjoyed our conversation. It was really nice to be able to make a reservation for brunch as this isn't available in a lot of places.

Not going back, kinda boring, dull vibe, not friendly. Had the carnitas but didn't find any meat but did find yuky vinegar in profusion. The tiramisu was delicious.
