My father says this is nothing like Taiwanese TKK and that I must try the real deal next time we're in Taiwan. The tenders tasted like a slightly less good version of Popeyes. The sandwich was not bad, but you definitely need the lettuce in the deluxe version. You could probably go without the cheese, though. The fries are solid and the biscuit was not bad (not too dry).No complaints for Williamsburg, though -- at least TKK exists here!

Recently, I started looking at restaurants Sophia and I have never been to in the area. After she came home from a hair appointment, we traveled here to an area of Williamsburg that we've never been to before. For the most part, it's street parking where we found a very good spot and restaurants and stores galore. Let's see how this spot turned out for us.Inside, the decor is very nice. They have a few tables inside and plenty in the outside patio. It's basically a spot that's takeout but if want to dine-in, that's totally fine. And they serve Kung Fu Tea, one of our favorite guilty pleasures that unfortunately closed near us months ago. After a few minutes, we ordered at the counter. Along with a large Strawberry Milk slush, I selected a 5 piece tender combo with a side of crinkle fries.First off, the slush was pretty good. At 50% sugar with boba pearls, it hit the sweet spot very well. It felt like old times when we used to order KFT often. But, the chicken combo itself was underwhelmimg. The food came out hot and ready, but the tenders were tough to break apart either by biting into it or with your hands if you dipped in any of their sauces. Sophia ordered a chicken sandwich and wasn't impressed, saying eating a Chick-Fil-A sandwich is better. That says a lot. I did take some home to eat for leftovers, but like earlier, could've been better. Not to put any bad press on the business, but it was disappointing. Again, it's basically a takeout spot and one for KFT admirers like us. We will come back only for that reason the next time we're around.

Food: Ordered the Original Chicken sandwich, a mango tea and French fries. All were delicious and the chicken breast was nice and juicy as well as huge! The fries were hot and right out of the fryer! Service: The woman behind the counter was polite taking our order and when we had a question about sauces a gentleman was very kind. Ambiance: There is not a lot of seating inside but there are bench and tables outside to sit at.

Stopped in for a quick bite! The establishment was very clean and food was prepared once we ordered. Chicken was crispy and seasoned well and the curly fries were also tasty! Customer service was good. We will be back when in the area!

Discovered this neat little place while dropping off packages in the Monticello shopping center. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and inviting the restaurant was inside. The staff was extremely friendly and sat us down quickly. The menu was full of delicious Korean style chicken and standard items. My Tteokbokki was delicious and spicy. Also had a side of Kimchi that was tasty and spicy. I really enjoyed eating here. It is easy to get here and there is plenty of parking. Good for families and friends. A good overall value and v will definitely return to try another Korean meal.

My first time here- stumbled across the restaurant by accident. Somehow the universe makes sure that you are where you need to be. They seem to be out of a bunch of stuff, so I went with the Classic Crispy Chicken sandwich, and made it Deluxe (+$1.50) because I enjoy vegetables on my sandwich. Made a combo of it, because who doesn't like curly fries?!? Got an iced green tea, which was pretty good as green tea goes. The sandwich was excellent- everything I want in a fried chicken sandwich- crispy, hot, juicy, slightly spicy. The fries were tasty and fresh. Ingrid was very helpful to a poor old first-timer, and the total before tip came to $11.98, so it was cheaper than the other places nearby. I'm not even worrying about the calories because I walked here! TL;DR- hot, fresh, delicious lunch in 5 minutes for $12 plus tip. How can you go wrong? I will definitely be back.

We had no idea this chicken was so delicious. Definitely will be back. Your chicken deluxe sandwich is the BEST. Wonderful knowledgeable staff. Thanks for being so nice & patient with our questions.

Fried chicken is lack of flavour but they do have 4 different sauces so it kind of make up. We also ordered bubble tea to go and they didn't seal it well, one tea spilled all over the bag and ended up messing up our car mat. Disappointing experience.

Sent my daughter to pickup some chicken today... we live close enough to walk. I thought it would be fun to support a new place. Apparently they were down to their last five pieces of fried chicken at around 1:30--never a good look for a chicken restaurant to run out of their signature dish in the middle of the day. And all they had was spicy. But it was enough for three of us to each try a piece. The chicken was good.. crispy, not too greasy, a lighter batter than say Popeyes (more leavening) and not nearly as spicy. Then I saw the receipt. 1 average sized breast, 1 thigh, 1 leg and two small wings was $16. Plus tax. That's with no drinks or sides or anything. That's some really expensive chicken... and it wasn't $4 a piece good. Sorry. I'll drive to Popeyes, or just grab a whole dinner from Publix.

Decent chicken. The taste is good but let's be honest, it's chicken. There are many other places in town the have the same if not better tasting fried chicken. The real issue is with the texture for me. None of my chicken was "crispy" as advertised. When you have quite average tasting chicken your selling point needs to be the crispy breading and sauces, neither of which I was even slightly impressed by. The spicy chicken tenders did have a good amount of spice to them and they tasted decent, however, they were very thin and ended up feeling more like a snack than an entrée I paid 6+ dollars for. Additionally, I got a side order of mash potatoes and gravy that tasted rather bland, especially compared to similar food places with mashed potatoes and gravy. The real let down was the chicken sandwich. Again, the taste was decent, better than my chicken sandwiches in school, but the texture was bad enough for me to set the sandwich down and not eat more after a few bites despite the taste being okay.Overall, I felt like I paid too much for the small portions I got. If you're chicken is high priced you really have to blow it away with great breading, sides, and sauces. I felt that none of that was accomplished enough to justify the price. Will not be buying again.
