I noticed all rooms have a cute staircase for kids to climb up themselves.

We're back home for good and had to find a new pediatrician for my brand new baby, and her older siblings. We heard great things about a Dr. Baker who is at the practice, but she is so in demand that we were scheduled with a different physician, Dr. Kaloji.Upon entering there are two doors, the left side is meant as a "sick" side, and the right side is for those who are not sick. I didn't realize that, and we ended up waiting in the sick area side after checking in, though thankfully we were the only people waiting there. So be aware!I'm not sure when our appointment was but we had waited 20 minutes in the waiting room since we had checked in. I say I don't know when the appointment was because we were told and confirmed at 10:15am when we called and made the appointment, but the confirmation text message said 10:05am -- which is a really weird time, but who knows. The nurse who did intake was nice and didn't rush us. She also came back after speaking with Dr. Kaloji and gave my baby her shots, and the information/dosage sheet for adverse reactions and weight for medication should a fever arise.Dr. Kaloji was really nice. I enjoyed speaking with her, and I liked how she communicated with us. She listened to my concerns and went over each one. She didn't rush us and with each concern I had, she gave me information on what to expect as she gets bigger. We've only had one visit, but I'm hoping the trend continues to be as great as this one. Hopefully Dr. Baker is just as great, but if not, I'd absolutely come back to see Dr. Kaloji for follow up appointments as well.

We love Dr. Baker! My now 6-month-old has been a patient of Dr. Baker from the beginning. She is incredibly nice, thorough and has a very calm demeanor that makes my daughter feel comfortable when being seen. She is always happy to answer any questions we have and doesn't rush us out. I highly recommend her and plan to have her be my daughters pediatrician as she grows. Side note: anytime I call with questions for the nurse or doctor, my phone call is returned in usually no more than 30 mins. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We have also seen Dr. Nottingham for a visit regarding eczema and we really liked him, too.

Most docs are great here but ask not to see Ongkingco. He refused to check my niece's twin girl when she took her sick 6 yr old and her male 1 yr old twin. (other twin woke up sick before the appt time ). Since my niece had taken the last 2 sick appointments the doc told her he could not look at the second twin since "you took the last two appointments and my staff are going home. Bring her back tomorrow". She was RIGHT there but he wanted my niece to drag the 3 sick kids back out the next day. INEXCUSABLE ! The twin he refused to look at ended up being taken by ambulance to the ER that evening for her breathing.

Being a step-parent is difficult enough without being rudely disregarded by a team of poorly organized and misinformed office staff who choose to diffuse the responsibility of inadequate administrative practices by placing blame on the client. My sister has been unfairly put through the ringer when attempting something as simple as scheduling a doctor's visit for her step-children and has received incorrect answers to her questions more than once. At this point I believe the staff's insistence on dealing solely with the biological father under the pretense of following regulations is nothing more than a means of purposely complicating the process because they don't have the courtesy to rectify a situation after dropping the ball. They'd rather avoid it completely. The staff were repeatedly reassured that the father would be present at the actual appointment but simply did not have the opportunity during working hours to play the tedious game of being out on hold for 45 minutes every time a question was asked that should've had a simple enough answer. The staff then proceeded to contradict themselves by accusing my sister of failing to show up for two mysterious past appointments that she never scheduled. So let me get this straight-step-parents are not permitted to schedule appointments but you've somehow conjured up two missed imaginary ones (that the step-parent SUPPOSEDLY ARRANGED) as an excuse to brush her off?!? Sounds to me like there are a bunch of chickens running around in the Oak Brook office with their heads cut off. Do not attempt to patronize this medical group unless you are a part of a perfect nuclear family because they seem utterly unwilling to accommodate any other family scenario. Also be aware that the answers you are given to your questions may be grossly inaccurate and you will be made to shoulder the blame once you've operated under the misconceptions perpetrated by the staff. I must note that my sister is the mother of 4 biological children, therefore this is not her first rodeo and she knows how these types of things are supposed to work. This is, however, the first time she has had the medical affairs of any of her children handled in such an irreverent and confusing manner. She is not a difficult or confrontational person, but is at her wits end with the treatment she has received. She was so upset over all this that she is currently unable to articulate her frustration which is why I felt compelled to respond on her behalf. I think this whole ordeal has been a terrible oversight and she will happily take her business to another pediatrician where the administrative arm of their practice is actually functional for something other than parent-shaming and red tape.

The whole family absolutely loves this doctors office and everything about it! As soon as you enter the doors, they have a seperated waiting for sick visits and well visits, which is extremely thoughtful and nice. On each side, there are masks to cover your cough, hand sanitizer, a water fountain, restroom, children's table and chairs with books and a tv. They also have some parent magazines, etc. The front desk staff is nice and friendly. The facility is very clean. And the nurses and doctors are super friendly, compassionate and professional. They have an evening hotline that you could call for any questions and concerns, which is very convenient. Another plus is that this place is affiliated with CHKD so if we have to bring our kids to CHKD ER or Urgent Care in the evening or weekend, this doctor office will have all the notes and medications prescribed from the visit. Love this place! Our doctor is Dr. Mink. He is highly rated and recommended. Our boys love him. He is easy going, friendly, funny, and very professional. I could go on and on about how great he is! There has been a couple of times when we would see a different doctor then have a follow up with Dr. Mink and he'll catch things or asked if certain things were said and he'll be on it if they weren't. The other doctors are great too, except for one in our case.

I relocated to this area and had awesome doctors previously. So it was hard to find a good practice to come close to the care that we were used to. So far, Tidewater Children's Associates have been wonderful. We love all of the doctors and nurses there. They take their time with you and answer all my questions. I've never felt rushed. My only negative is when calling in to schedule an appointment. However, I have a feeling it is not this office I am talking with, but a scheduling department somewhere else.
