Nice public golf course, definitely need more arrows to show people where hole 10 and 18 are. We got a little turned around. It was a beautiful sunday for 18 holes. The restaurant was open and the cook was making fresh breakfast sandwiches, no premade stuff. The gentleman assigning carts was very friendly and helpful since he knew I hadn't been there before. The grounds were kept up and there were water coolers and port-a-John's located about the course. It was packed though, and maybe people walked, so there was a small bit of queuing. I can definitely see myself coming back to this course. I was also pleased that no bugs were attacking.

Don't be fooled by this golf course. Just because it measures only 5,400 yards doesn't mean you're going to light up the scorecard. You still have to hit the shots and if you try to be aggressive with a lot of these short holes you'll end up making a big number. A few things to note.- Some of these greens are big. You short side yourself on a putt and you can have a 50 footer... a possible three putt.- When possible, go for the iron or fairway metal off the tee. Just like any golf course, best to keep the ball in play. - You can play for less than $35 with cart. That's a good price. One thing to note is that this course is in great condition during the summer. Home to the Hampton Amateur that gathers some of the best talents in the area, they do a good job of getting this course in good shape for the tournament. For the average golfer, you benefit from a nice course in preparation for something bigger than just regular play.Definitely a fun course to play that can test your true skill despite being a course 10-20% shorter than most courses in the area.

If you're new stay away, Marshall is rude and argued with us before we even got to the first tee, told us we were going to loose our tee time 15 minute before our tee time if we didn't tee off. Then we were told we need to hurry up. If you are newer to golf go to a friendlier course like the Hamptons. Course is In great shape if you're a pro or a good armature but if you've only golfed a couple of time definitely would not recommend. Seems to be more of a country club than a public course, overall extremely rude 0/10
