A few months ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Williamsburg Winery, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking views! The vineyards, a peaceful pond, and a charming property that feels like a step into a European countryside. It's the kind of place that invites you to slow down and take it all in.The tasting room staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. They guided me through a selection of wines, each with its own unique character and story. Whether you're a fan of bold reds or crisp whites, there's something for everyone. After the tasting, I wandered into the retail shop, which is stocked with a variety of wines, gourmet snacks, and unique gifts that are perfect for bringing a little taste of Williamsburg Winery home. One of the best parts of my visit was simply grabbing a glass of wine and heading to the outdoor pavilion. Sitting there, sipping on a perfectly chilled white wine while overlooking the vines and pond, was pure bliss. The property is also great for a leisurely stroll, with scenic paths winding through the vineyard, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing afternoon.Williamsburg Winery is more than just a place to taste wine. It's an experience that blends great hospitality, stunning scenery, and, of course, fantastic wines. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a must visit destination for wine lovers.

My fiancé and I got a sweet wine flight and everything was beautifully decorated for Christmas. This is always a 'must visit' when we travel through or to Williamsburg. Service was alright because they were super busy. I wish they were a little more friendly but it was not bad at all.

What an adorable winery! My sister and I made it our main focus during our weekend getaway, and it did not disappoint. Upon arrival, we were greeted by ample space perfect for large groups, HOCO was happening locally, resulting in a lively crowd of young kids capturing moments with their dates, often with their parents in tow. A few even turned to us for help with their photos! How cute! We took full advantage of the beautiful scenery and snapped plenty of our own pictures. As we entered the tasting room, we were torn between finding a cozy table or settling at the bar. Eager to learn more about their offerings, we approached the bar, but just as our bartender arrived to assist us, an older couple jumped in, vying for her attention. It was a bit bewildering, but thankfully another bartender noticed our plight and swooped in to save the day.And what a savior she was! Her vibrant personality instantly lifted our spirits. My sister and I decided to indulge in a flight each. I was tempted by both the Sweet and the Sparkling, ultimately choosing the sparkling flight. As we savored the delightful flavors--some hits and a few misses--we munched on the pretzels they sell as well as other small snacks. We left with a bottle and big smiles! Our bartender truly deserves a 10/10 for her service. The only downside to our visit was discovering that we couldn't bring our own food, which was a bit disappointing given our usual habits. However, this small hiccup didn't overshadow the overall joy of our experience. I can't wait to return, explore different flights, and perhaps dine at their restaurant as well!

Stopped in for a tasting with the wife. We were looking forward to this for a few weeks and the wine did not disappoint. We tried two different flights and both were good. We even walked away with three bottles we felt were excellent. Now the facilities were not what we were expecting. The tasting room is very bland, with little to no ornamentation. We were hoping for something that matched the charm of Williamsburg. They also don't provide water or crackers to cleanse your palette between drinks. They are happy to sell you some crackers ($7.00). Just not what we were expecting. How much would it cost to purchase a large bag of oyster crackers and provide each guest with a small amount? This could be better.

Our recent visit to the winery was like stepping into a beautiful postcard--absolutely picturesque! It's undoubtedly a fantastic spot for capturing memories. While there wasn't entertainment during our visit, I can easily imagine this place during special events.Interestingly, it seemed to be homecoming season, as we were surrounded by high schoolers in their finest attire, all eager to snap photos. A few even approached us for assistance with their pictures, and we were more than happy to oblige! We took the opportunity to capture some lovely moments ourselves by the water and the charming barrels out front. Oh, and don't miss the giant LOVE statue! It's the perfect photo op and makes you want to hunt down all the LOVE signs around Virginia. We indulged in some wine flights, which were decent, slightly more expensive then those in Charlottesville, but the service had a bit of a hiccup. While waiting to be served, a friendly staff member approached us to share her wine wisdom. Unfortunately, she was interrupted by another couple who seemed oblivious to our need for attention. Thankfully, another wine tender swooped in to save the day, providing us with insightful recommendations and ensuring we got the attention we deserved. We settled at the bar to enjoy our flights, and we couldn't resist ordering a bag of their pretzels. They were absolutely delicious--though I must admit, our hunger may have made them taste even better! After sharing our thoughts, the server treated us to some tiny sips of other wines. This was just what we needed, as we discovered a bottle we both adored! We happily purchased it to share with our friends at our upcoming Friendsgiving.Overall, we had a delightful experience! The winery is a beautiful venue, and I can't wait to return, especially when there's an event happening. Cheers to making more memories--and maybe even more wine adventures!

This used to be one of my favorite places to visit. They used to offer cheap winery tours and I just loved the vibe of it. I was excited to visit after so many years living outside of VA. The tours are now crazy expensive and leave a lot to be desired if you book the highlights tour. The highlights tour was basically the one that used to be very cheap. They say the tour will take about 1.25 hours, but could have been completed in 30mins honestly. There's not a ton to see and you only taste a few wines - again, at any other winery this would have max been 30 minutes for what you see and experience. Will I go back? Not for a tour.

My partner and I took a weekday to ourselves and visited the winery for tasting. The service was absolutely wonderful. Our sommelier knew their various wines and made wonderful suggestions based on our individual palette preferences. At the end of the tour and tasting we enjoyed some light snacks. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual we didn't feel rushed at all. The staff were super friendly and helped me quickly purchase one of the wines my partner loved without him knowing as a surprise. We even were lucky enough to enjoy a late lunch at the restaurant across the path. We will definitely be back again to enjoy this local treat. Ps - if you're a tourist looking for a LOVE sign they have one with wine corks.
