This place hea is the bomb.com! I ordered 2 cakes for the holidays and let me tell you they melted in our mouths! Do not sleep on them... they're reasonable but most of all DELICIOUS!!! Buyer BEWARE. I agree with some of what the "hidden reviews" below have to say about The Unforgettable Gourmet. Angela is a very nice person. However, my experience with her professionalism left a very poor taste in my mouth (before I even got to taste her food). I was planning two events in 2020, a birthday party and a bridal shower. I reached out in February 2020 and Angela was extremely responsive, she emailed me immediately, called me, even pinged me on gchat. She was enthusiastic and charming and we narrowed down a delicious menu at a really reasonable price, and I was excited to work with her. A couple days later, she sent a request for a catering deposit via GooglePay, which I paid.The following week (still in Feb 2020), I reached out again about the 2nd event. Similarly, we developed a menu. Agreed on a reasonable price. This time, she asked for the deposit via Zelle, since GooglePay took too long for her to receive the funds. I agreed and sent payment.Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, I had to cancel the first event. I reached out to Angela on March 30, she responded immediately and said that the deposit would be returned before the end of the week. It was not. I reached out and she said she'd have to refund the deposit at the end of the month instead (April 2020). I understood the situation and agreed. On April 23rd, I made the decision to cancel the 2nd event (again due to COVID).I reached out again, but got no response. I reached out again on May 7 inquiring about both refunds. She responded saying she was "waiting on funds to clear" and would respond again at the end of the following week. (Are you noticing the pattern?) No payment or communication.I emailed again on May 21, May 31, and June 25th - no response. Angela responded on June 25th saying that she'll refund both deposits on July 3rd. That date came and went with no payment. I emailed on July 6 and received no response. So I emailed on July 20 expressing my frustration with this process and her lack of communication and professionalism. I told her that if I did not receive the refunds by July 24th, that I would take further action to collect. She immediately emailed and called me. She said that she had a family emergency and did not have the funds to reimburse the full amount. I offered to accept half on July 24th and the balance on July 31. She agreed and I followed up with an email to document our agreement. On July 23rd, Angela texted me that she only had a portion of the 1st payment and said she'd try to get the remainder and send by Sunday July 26th. I followed up via text and requested that she NOT delay payment and instead send the amount she has in hand. I recommended that she add the remaining balance from this week into next week's payment. No response received. As of today, July 27th 2020 (4 whole months after initially requesting my 1st refund) I have not heard back from her and have not received a SINGLE reimbursement. Small claims court is in our future, unfortunately. Buyer BEWARE. I do not believe this is a legitimate business.

Experienced this bowl of talent at a retreat. The Unforgettable Gourmet group came and prepared breakfast and dinner for a group of about 25. Everything was fantastic and the desserts were unreal! The chocolate fountain, pineapple fluff, stuffed chicken, gourmet grits...both meals were a treat. As importantly, they were not at all intrusive while they prepped and cooked and then, when invited, they joined us for a dance after dinner. Simply an unforgettable culinary and engaging experience.
