Our server was great, and we had just started on cocktails and got our meal ordered when a big roach dropped from somewhere above us and landed on our table. Needless to say, we didn't stay for dinner. It's a shame, we were really looking forward to it!

When we were seated it was around 7pm on a Saturday it wasn't very busy just a few tables and one large party. We were told they only have 2 menus, so my party of 5 said fine and took turns looking through all the 2 menus we had. None of us had been to a place like this before, we didn't know how it all worked the waiter was patient the first date we came on 5/18/24 he took our photo as a group and he was fantastic no complaints that date except the only having 2 menus thing. We came back the same group of 5 people on a Saturday again around 645pm on 5/25/24 the place was not busy again they told us we only have 2 menus. Come on one time I get it but twice with no more then 2 menus? That's annoying, we were seated and rushed to order the waiter "I don't remember his name his was shorter heavyset black man" he did not introduce himself to us and he said "do you want to order now I have a large party and I'll be a minute with them so I won't be able to come back to your table for quite some time?" I said we just st down and only have 2 menus so we need a minute. He legit walked away that's all. This experience was just awful, the last time 5/18/24 we came here in ordered a half lb snow crab legs and got two clusters this time I order the same and only got 1 cluster of snow crab legs. When I asked why the difference to the waiter on 5/25/24 he said he didn't know that's all nothing about him checking with a manager or anything. We ordered an appetizer which was Buffalo shrimp this time around the shrimp (compared to 5/18/24 visit ) was disgusting , mushy and almost no Buffalo on it at all. This same waiter while he claimed to be too busy with a huge party to help us was seated at a booth by the window with a female customer for over 15 mins while we waited for him to come back to our table to check out. Over all the experience on 5/25/24 was a dumpster fire from the minute we walked in to the time we left.

Very good seafood boil! We came to celebrate our daughter's birthday and were surprised at how great the food was! The ambiance was fun - the booths look like giant crab traps, and our server was friendly, personable, and attentive! We'll be back.

Food's good but greasy. If any workers see this, let Byron Wilson know I will be out of town this upcoming weekend for our son's birthday and maybe to at least reach out ONCE to plan something with the kids or at least his son for his birthday? I don't want him to continue to claim I'm "keeping the kids from him" while he also blocks anyway for me to contact him or having me wait for him to come back around and end up doing nothing like what happened last month with our daughter's birthday. None of what he's doing (or I guess lack there of) looks too good on paper for custody purposes... so maybe actually try just the tiniest bit if you want to see your kids?? Lastly, all the other workers there are AMAZING people, very nice, thoughtful and know how to work hard!

I've dined at a few seafood boil spots and The Twisted Crab was pretty good. The service was great and the food was not over cooked. I wasn't too hungry but wanted a little something to eat so I was glad to see that I could get a 1/2 lb of shrimp since all the other seafood boil restaurants I've been to has their offerings by the pound. A 1/2 lb was all I needed. The ordered the twisted sauce (combo of all the sauces) with medium heat and it was really tasty, but the medium heat was more like mild. Overall, I'd come back when I'm in town.

The girlfriend and I got the T4 pot. It had shrimp, clams, mussels, taters, and corn. Also has a side of hush puppies and Cajun fries. The clams had awesome seasoning. The shrimp tasted super good and fresh. The mussels seemed kind of small and didn't have very much taste. Corn was great with plenty of seasoning while the potatoes which were cooked perfectly had zero seasoning flavor. Hush puppies were super good as were the Cajun fries. I'm glad that we tried it but I would rather try a different place than go back again. Not that it was awful, it just didn't have anything that made it great.

Service was a bit slow, but food out very quickly after ordering. Great flavor and spice especially when craving some spicy seafood while traveling.

Took my 15 year old daughter for her Birthday, last weekend. It was 1 adult and 5 children. We ate and once checks arrived, everyone noticed total was higher than normal. I looked more closely and realized we were charged a 18% service charge. I asked a server if this included gratuity and they said, "no unfortunately it doesn't." I asked what it was for and they said a party of 6 or more gets the extra fee added to a check. I spoke with manager and they informed me the server gets 1% and the restaurant gets 99%. There was a total of 43.00 added to our check because there as 1 adult and 5 children, at my table. RIDICULOUS! For what? Parents sent their children with money to eat and a tip. Well, the "tip" money went to pay the extra "service" charge and they didn't have money for tip. I felt bad for the server and gave her a tip for the table. So basically, after paying for the bill, An extra 83.00 was paid for service fee and tip! This is wrong, it's borderline illegal and I will never eat here again. I'm sure your servers get no tip, often when this happens. The restaurant is tacking on 18% for NOTHING and it's straight profit. Do better!!! I've been in restaurant and bartending business a long time, I have NEVER seen anything like this.

The food was great and the server nyah was amazing I had 12 wings with 2 different flavors and a glass of wine I will come back again
