Where to start ... We visited here about about a year ago and had amazing service and the food was on point. However, the second visit to this establishment was a definite downgrade. The ambiance was not pleasant. Between the mumble rap, the servers including management with long talon finger nails and the tight jeans with short hoodies, we should have just walked out, but it was my nephews birthday and it was dinner time. We met our server Emma who did not look too thrilled to be working and the emotion carried through to her service. The first mistake was she brought the wrong drinks and insisted that we ordered wrong. The second mistake, we ordered side salads that were just water-logged lettuce, grape tomatoes, cucumbers and ranch and was informed after we placed the order only 3 salads were available after placing the order. Considering the lack of complexity to the salad I don't understand how we couldn't get another one, but I digress. When Emma mentioned that she didn't have enough we said to her it's ok just to remove it from the bill. She indeed did not remove it from the bill. The food was mid and not worth the price this time around. The next issue was paying the bill. Emma came by with a tablet to collect payment. I saw the cost of the bill was high and we asked for a print out, she said it wasn't possible, we asked to see the bill and she let us briefly glance at it, and the cherry on top was we asked her if the bill included the tip we were told the it didn't and it actually did. After collecting the payment, she then gave us a print out and that was when we asked for a manager. The manager came out with the server and some other person not even involved in the equation for I'm guessing emotional support. My wife explained the situation and the manager said she could refund it but she wouldn't do anything more than refund the salad and allow the piss poor service we received to be rewarded with a 38% tip. The manager was also rude and not professional. The saddest thing was it was a week night with less than 5 tables occupied. I don't know if this place is under new management but if anyone is looking for seafood the oceanfront is 20 min away and Long John Silver probably has comparable atmosphere. Will be contacting my bank for the fraudulent charge of the tip. Will be contacting home office to explain how much of a dark stain this location is on their reputation. The only thing twisted about this place is their view on customer service

Go to Boil Bay instead!! I placed an online order. When it was time to pick it up I headed to the restaurant. I waited an additional 45+ minutes for my order to be ready!! This is unacceptable. The food itself (crab lebs and shrimp) was just okay. The only saving grace was that the staff was friendly, however completely unapologetic. That was also very surprising. This was our second time trying this place and also our last. Boil Bay is better although a little more expensive, but I'll pay the higher price for better food and service!

I've visited this location a couple of times before but have only ordered the seafood boils, which are great, but I was craving fried seafood and figured The Twisted crab was the best place to go!Thankfully when we arrived on a Thursday evening, it was pretty empty so we were seated right away. Unfortunately, we did have to wait quite a while for a waiter to come and take our order but once she arrived, she was very apologetic. I ordered a Classic Margarita (my favorite) then we decided on the Fried Catfish Basket, Fried Shrimp Basket, Fried Oyster Basket and the Fried Calamari. The food was delivered in a pretty timely manner and it was piping hot, which I liked! Our waiter brought out all the condiments so we didn't even have to ask for anything. The catfish was fried perfectly and paired very well with the corn. The oysters were tender and flavorful and the shrimp was just amazing. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with the calamari. It was very overcooked and had a rubbery texture.Overall, the majority of the food was delicious and I was very impressed with the portion size. If you're looking for fried seafood or even a good seafood boil, I would highly recommend The Twisted Crab.

if i could leave 0 stars i would! i came to eat by myself and no one came to my table i waited for over 10 minutes and no greeting, no drinks, no service at all. so irritating it's my birthday and wanted to eat some good seafood and i am so disappointed.

Great place for no mess at home seafood boil! Cool,nautical themed restaurant with very attentive and friendly staff. We love the crab legs, shrimp, corn, and potatoes! Mouth-watering good! Also, great selection of mixed drinks!

We decided to order some food to go for a special day and it was delicious.The seasoning was perfect. The seafood was cooked wonderfully. The corn was so delicious and sweet and the contrast with the sauce just took it over the top. The shrimps peeled very easily and the crab legs were also not too hard to handle.I will definitely try this place again.

Let me just say, I absolutely adore this place may be my favorite seafood boil bag ever... I ordered the T5 1/2lb Snow crab legs, 1/2 Shrimp no head, 1/2 Crawfish extra potatoes no sausage in twisted sauce extra spicy!! It didn't disappoint at all! The seafood was fresh and piping hot. The potatoes were a little overcooked but they didn't take away from the seafood itself! Service was top notch I didn't like my drink and my waitress made me a new one with no problems! Great vibe with great music selections!I will definitely be back!

Food was fresh! And well seasoned! Also great price thanks quite authentic and location was very clean!

Disappointed not only that the kitchen let these sell out the door but that they were even ordered to begin with. These are not wings or even wingettes today for that matter all 5 pieces total the meat for what 1 Wing should be. Call and try to get info and they are already aware so why are they still being SOLD sad and I bet it's to go orders like mine so you don't see till your home . I'm not sure the pictures can even show how minature these are. NO way Kitchen thought this was ok Let me reach out to corporate raise price if need be but dont sell me bones please

God where do I begin, DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT the food was good the SERVICE SUCKED we saw our server 2 times that was taking our order and bringing our food she asked if we needed crab crackers we said yes we never got them and never saw her again i had to get up to go to the front and asked to pay my check and it yet again took at least 30 mins to get my check they were all standing behind the bar talking every single table around us wasn't also getting checked up on so as i say again DO NOT EAT HERE if you actually want to eat and leave at a decent time!!
