The Trojan Grill

Worst place ever! Waited 45 minutes for two wraps and this isn't the first time I have had this issue. Never again Trojan Grill!!!

This is our first visit to New Kent, and it's so peaceful and quiet. A local we met at the farmers market recommended the Trojan Grill, and he was right. It has a nice ambiance and great service. We loved the appetizers; they were delicious.

In the last year they have changed their menu and the bbq hot dog we loved so much has been eliminated. While the service was good, the other items we ordered (soft pretzel and Chopped Cheese sandwich) were greasy and not flavorful.

It's a good bar atmosphere. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and timely with the food and checking in on the table. The menu is pretty simple but everything tasted good. My biggest issue was that the bathrooms were in bad shape at the time I went, otherwise it's a solid spot off the highway.

I love the sandwiches but your French frys need some workThey have awesome flavor but no consistency on size and cooking time They are limpIf you can get your frys together it would be 5 stars

We stopped in for a late lunch. Our first time there.We were quickly greeted by our server and had our choice of seating since it was empty.The place is kinda cool- high ceilings and lots of light. Clean- except for the bathrooms which are in horrible condition.I had the pulled pork platter with fries. Both were cold and the pork was incredibility salty and I love salt! Tom had the fried shrimp and onion rings. Both cold, rings were clearly from the bottom of the bag as they were just broken pieces. Shrimp was ok after you got through the batter. We left almost as hungry as when we arrived and were $40 lighter.Won't be returning..

Akeem was fantastic and took such care of us!!!! He made sure we were happy and always had what we needed! Food was awesome too!!!

I had fried chicken sliders and they were delicious. My great server even changed the football channel to my preferred game... a huge plus. Very clean restaurant with scrumptious food.

Wife and I and another couple went one time and ordering from your table was a pain in the a**. And food was not that good. Wife and I went back to give them a second chance and they would not let us set on the back deck with our dog. They said they would not let us because there was already another dog out there. I will never go back for bad service and mediocre food.

Wait time. We waited for over one hour and twenty minutes for our food to come to our table! One of us had to leave for an appointment, and the food boxed was not worth the price paid. Doubtful that two of us would ever return.
