The Sweet Spot

We visited this spot the night before Thanksgiving and it was great! My nephews were so excited to get a sweet treat! We were a little confused upon entering, but quickly located the screens to place an order. They had so many good looking options and I was ecstatic about them having vegan ice cream options! The staff brought out our desserts and they did not disappoint! The funnel cake and churros were fried perfectly and the presentation was everything. Will definitely go back when we're in town to take advantage of the beautiful decor!

I came to this location on September 22nd with my family. I can definitely say I prefer the one at the oceanfront that has friendly staff. However, they close earlier then this location does. The parking here is a nightmare for the amount of people that go to this location and be prepared for a long wait (20minutes in our case). After waiting for our food to be prepared they brought it out to us and it was wrong :-( when I brought it to the employees attention he just said "you didn't pay for that" and walked off. No assistance on trying to make it write or offering any other suggestions when all i did was ask for a single scoop in a cone and not a bowl... I understand they were busy and taking care of a lot of people but it is crazy to me that they would risk loosing customers and not try to ensure all of there customers were happy before leaving. its a shame my stepdaughter loves to visit this place when we come to VA beach but we will have to go to the one on the ocean front or just find another dessert place when we visit.

If your having a late night craving for something sweet. This is the spot. Open daily till 10pm and 11pm Fri/Sat. This shop is so inviting. If you love Pink, Ice Cream and happy people then come by. Love the pink nostalgia. They also have an awesome outdoor seating for the summer and winter seasons. My favorite is the fire pit area in the evening. It's always busy and everyone that walks in always have a smile and excitement ordering thier favorite dessert. This was my first time going late in the evening, and boy a lot of people out late for sweets! Lol Ordered the Bubble Waffle "So Hazelnut". And no,skimping here. I couldn't finish it all. Gonna definitely come back and try others. I do want rent one of the Igloo rooms on a special occasion.

I can't rave enough about The Sweet Spot! This dessert oasis is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. The decor is absolutely enchanting, with a pink Italian theme that is perfect for Instagram. From the moment you step in, you're transported to a whimsical world filled with pastel hues, elegant chandeliers, and charming Italian touches.I came here with my mom and sister for a late-night treat, and we were blown away by the experience. The customer service was top-notch - friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their offerings. We indulged in a variety of desserts: the funnel cake was perfectly crispy and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar, the churro milkshake was a delightful blend of creamy and crunchy, the unicorn milkshake was a colorful explosion of sweetness, and the scoop of strawberry shortcake ice cream was rich and flavorful.Every bite was pure bliss. The quality of the desserts exceeded our expectations, making our visit memorable. The Sweet Spot has definitely earned a special place in our hearts. We can't wait to come back for more delicious treats and to soak in the stunning decor again!

The service is fast & amazing this our 4 th time being here ! We finally brought our daughter here it's so family friendly I love it here !! The food is always good as always ! This is our go to spot definitely we will always be back !!

So, a while back, I had went to the original Sweet Spot store at the Oceanfront and because I didn't realize just how big the portions were, I ordered something for myself, my daughter, and my son. That was crazy! But, still CRAZY good! I remember how good it all tasted, but I have to admit I was in a sugar coma by the end because I tried to finish my own plus theirs. Oof. Not a good idea. I remember when this new store was going to open, but with the long lines and such, I didn't dare go. But FINALLY i made it, and it didn't disappoint. I readily admit, I have been there 2x in the past 3 weeks. LOL I had milkshakes both times...the first time was the cookies and cream milkshake and the second was the chocolate milkshake. I can't remember the names, but OMG were they good. And monstrous! I like sweet but not too crazy sweet. But I LOVE ice cream, so i could never go wrong with that. I liked the cookies and cream better than the chocolate. Maybe because the extra on top was a cookies and cream ice cream sandwich instead of a brownie which was warm though and very good. My best friend had the bubble waffle the first visit, and my daughter and son just had ice cream on my second visit. For the price, you get ALOT of sweets so it makes it worth it and since I bought the milkshakes, I got to take home the tumblers too! The store is super cute. In a very nice way, and I mean it, the store "vomited" pink, but with all the fun decorations and especially for the Christmas, one can't help but love the atmosphere and the decor. I like how they have a time on the wall as to how long you will have to wait, but to be honest, the wait wasn't terrible. The music was good and my company was also good, so there was that. Be prepared to be in a sugar coma....a good one, afterwards. The ony drawback with this location is the parking. There is parking in the large shopping center in the back, but you don't really want to walk that far from behind. I went at night, so I was able to utilitize the bank parking lot next door, so there's that. Can't wait to go back and try something else, but that cookies and cream?? Mmmmmmm...I may have just found my go to!

The ultimate dessert spot in the 757!!! The decor is so Instagrammable and just cute (definitely for the gurrrls lol). The menu can't be beat. It has a range of ice cream to cakes to mini donuts to crepes to bubble waffles... then milkshakes and lemonades. There isn't a dessert that you won't like. Honestly, I haven't had a bad dessert here.This was my second time going. This time with family. So we got a lot! I ended up getting the mini donuts which were perfect. That hazelnut filling was A1 steak sauce.... Absolutely amazing. And apparently they are imported from Italy... oooooooooo! My daughter got the strawberry shortcake but of course wasted that. lol. My brother got the chocolate chip cookie dough and loved it. My cousin got the vegan cookies and cream and she loved it. My other cousins got the praline and the Unicorn milkshake. Absolutely no one was disappointed. The proportions are huge for everything. I recommend getting a toddler-sized cup if you know you aren't going to share your ice cream. I also recommend that you share your milkshake because it's rich and too big for one to finish in one sitting (unless you got it like that lol).Despite it being packed on a Saturday night, we found seats and all of our orders came fairly quick. I will be returning of course!!!!!!!!!

The Sweet Spot is certainly an experience! They excel at excess and over the top desserts, as well as Instagramable decor and noms. Everything we had was tasty, though the bubble waffle was hard to eat in the vessel they put it in. The Churrito Milkshake was especially delicious. Ordering at the kiosk made for quick service after viewing the menu on your phone via QR code.

Oh so good! This place oozes with sugary deliciousness. There's monster milkshakes, custom real ice cream, slushes, smoothies, coffees and more that I'm sure I'm missing. We shared the Oreo cookie shake and it took every bit of effort from both of us to finish. It's huge! There's an Oreo cookie ice cream sandwich on top of the whipped cream followed by the milkshake itself. Wrapped around the mason jar was more crumbles of Oreo held on by what I think was chocolate frosting. The mason jar can be kept and reused to save $2 on a future order. The blue raspberry slush was ordered by my kid and it was taller than his head. Inside was gummy bears and worms. It was a really great way to cool off on a hot day. The orders take a while to make since there's so many parts to it and did I mention it's MASSIVE!? The building is over the top pink with plenty of cushioned seats around tables. There's also a really neat setup outside with plastic igloos. The girls at the service counter are also super friendly and helpful. There's a kiosk to order your food but they check in on you the entire time to make sure you don't need help. This place is a gem for the VA Beach area.

Such a fun place to get a sweet treat. Kids love it bc it's so pretty inside and the treats are over the top!
