The Swamp Fun Park

This place is fantastic the owner and staff are super chill. They give military such great discounts and deals. The arena is great their is a lot of cover and points of interests for shoot outs. I would highly recommend coming here if your looking for a great time. I will definitely try to be back!

I am a casual paint-baller - I'll go maybe three times a year and only with private parties. I had a lot of fun when I was there and would certainly go back. The staff and the referees were friendly, and were sufficiently concerned with player safety. Venue:It's a strictly outdoor, with grass fields, where we spent most of our time, and some wooded areas, where we played only one game. The grass fields are actually just a huge field with cover placed everywhere, leaving it up to the judges to create boundaries for each game, which worked out well. Only one of the games on the grass field felt stacked to favor one team too much which was City Hall v. Temple of Doom map. There is a lack of netting between fields once you leave the safety zone/prep zone so if you get marked out of a game, you can step to the side somewhere and watch, but of course you'll have to leave your mask on. I would say that is a plus.The rentals were fine; I personally used my own marker, but everyone else's seemed fine. Admittedly there was one gun without a safety, but everyone's required to have a marker cover on anyway. The only reason why I removed a star is because of the mosquitoes or whatever it was that pretty much ate me alive. Perhaps it could have been inferred from the name Swamp Paintball, that it was a swamp and would carry with it the associated mosquitoes that live in a swamp, but I had no idea I would get as many bug bites as I did. Obviously you can't do much about mosquitoes, but a head's up would have been helpful. Don't let the bugs deter you as its still a great place to go, just spray on some bug repellent when you go.

I went on a Sunday with a private group of about 24 people. It was lots of fun. We played on a bunch of fields and one game in the woods. It seemed like a fairly small park, but it was still plenty of fun. I really liked the field with the boats.Also, the price was pretty good. Per person, it was about $25 for rentals and 500 paintballs.Also, the refs were great. They didn't keep us waiting that much and they were quite responsive and helpful.If you're in the area, I would recommend it. It is quite far from where I am from, the DC metro area.

Great place to paintball for a couple hours. I went with 7 other people and the owner Greg Overbey did an outstanding job of getting us everything we needed. The park itself was pretty cool; some buildings had 2 stories, which made it a lot of fun if your team got their first. All 8 of us had a blast and I would say you can't beat the price for getting 500 paintballs. The referee did an awesome job, he cared a lot about safety, but allowed everyone to have fun and he really got involved to let you know if people were still in the game or not. A lot of us said we would for sure go back again within the year. If you want to do something a little different for a few hours, this place is awesome for a couple hours!

Really nice people and fun game modes. Great environment and good field. Also had really good food to go with everything!

The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable about the sport of paintball. The the fields here were a little wet today as it was raining off and on. However it didn't hinder us from have a great time. I would definitely recommend giving The Swamp a try.

The owner and his staff were totally awesome to work with! We had an incredible time, the course was laid out well, just an overall great time! We highly recommend this place!!!!
