The Spot

Love this shop and make it a point to support it frequently during any OBX sojourn. Never tried the ice cream or whatever else they may have, to me it's all about the açaí bowls. It's easy to eat a bunch of junk on vacay, and I'll admit I can be guilty of that, so I'll typically make a meal each day with a bowl here - they work at breakfast, lunch and dinner and they're both crazy healthy and crazy delish. The Spot features a wrap-around porch and a game/picnic area, both of which have seating and are dog-friendly. Service is almost always friendly; the order taker today had an ugly case of the morning grumpies but the one who delivered my bowl was charming and helpful. See you next trip!

The Spot" is THE spot for smoothie lovers. Their açaí menu is heavenly, and you can customize your own blend if you don't see exactly what you're looking for. Be prepared for a wait, especially in the evenings, as their açaí bowls are exceptional, along with their delicious ice cream offerings!

WOW !I had the make your own acai bowl,I had fresh strawberries, kiwi, granola,Coconut and blueberries it was delicious!I also had the Avocado toast it was just ok- not much to it.The younger kids making food are really nice and friendly.I also ordered our daughter an Avalon-They do charge extra for substituting example no honey sub almond butter- really $1next time I will get another pick 5 then there is no extra charge for the first 5 ingredients.My husband had a hot fudge sundae- he said it was the best one he'd ever had.Restaurant was clean- we sat outside with the dogs.

This is the cutest place ever, they have a spot to take pictures and they have the best açaí bowls. I ordered the hammerhead and I love it! I'm coming back every year for it!

After a long hot day on the beach, what's better than a smoothie or Acai bowl? I ordered a smoothie, and my sister ordered an Acai bowl. My smoothie maybe took about 10 minutes but we waited almost 25 minutes for the Acai bowl. They have a takeout window as well, so it seemed with only a few workers they were getting behind. They also have ice cream as well. I wasn't sure if blueberries and peanut butter would go together, but it definitely did. I'd come back but maybe order ahead next time.

Yum, delicious acai bowls! I am always up for acai bowls, especially while on vacation at the beach. The Spot offers nutritious breakfast items, gluten-free options, ice cream, good customer service, a large outdoor dining area, and more. We enjoyed sitting outside with our dogs in the beautiful weather. They don't have table service. We ordered and picked up inside then took it outside to enjoy. They have a parking lot, however, I accidentally parked next door at Surf Spot. Nonetheless, it was close enough to walk to the Spot. The acai bowls are fresh and a typical size and quality as other acai bowl cafes. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and recommend this restaurant to others!

This place was perfect after a long day at the beach. The ice cream was fantastic and the store is perfect. Lots of cute merchandise to consider as well.

After sampling a few flavors, I couldn't settle on a one, so double scoop in cup for me. Cappuccino Crunch and Sea Salted Cookies & Cream hit "the spot"! LOLCute eatery shop. Great customer service and literally within walking distance from our airbnb.
