The Silver Fox Food Truck

Came across this food truck at a local wine festival, to be honest with you the name was interesting to me! But the menu had some great options! So much so that I had to go back the next day. I ordered the corn tacos which were so yummy!! A friend had the balsamic fig jam grilled cheese she said that it was VERY GOOD!! As I stated the tacos were so good I went back the next day for another order! By the way I added grilled chicken to the corn tacos!! The owner who was really pleasant offered me a sample of the brown sugar cinnamon cookie/ bar the description stated that it tastes like a pop-tart very accurate!! It definitely tasted like the brown sugar cinnamon pop-tart but better!! If you come across The Silver Fox I highly recommend you stopping by for a visit you will not be disappointed!

We hired the Silver Fox Food Truck for our wedding in February and I'm so glad we did! From the very first email until the last second of the wedding, and even now months after the wedding, they were nothing short of incredible. They are more than accommodating when it comes to special requests. I'm thankful for how patient, understanding and helpful they were with the many times I changed my mind while creating our wedding menu. Communication was always quick even when they had a busy weekend of food truck events. They stuck to deadlines, were flexible with our payment plan, and pricing was more than reasonable. The owners and staff are professional and obviously love what they do. They are genuinely kind, competent people. For our wedding, I hired the Tidewater Compost company in an effort to host as much of a waste free wedding as possible. Amazingly, we only had one small bag of trash for our 100 person wedding!! The Silver Fox not only made suggestions for the appropriate serving and food display materials to use for our aesthetic and weather, but they also took the time to help me find each specific compostable piece to use in all aspects of their catering service. I'm forever grateful for that.On our wedding day, they showed up on time and did what they do best! They decorated the truck window according to our theme (flowers, signage) and food service was quick. There were even some sweet surprises like special signage on the side of the truck that they designed for us. Our guests LOVED the food. If anything hadn't gone exactly perfect, they're definitely the only ones who know. The service and food quality were exceptional. For the guests that couldn't make it last minute, they boxed the meals and refrigerated them for us to bring home and enjoy the next day. Every aspect of working with them was above and beyond.Here we are months after the wedding and our guests still talk and ask about the food. Don't even get me started on the best cookies I've ever had. We visit them at different events to get food off their changing menu because it is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend choosing them for your next event or just visiting their truck whenever you see it. You will NOT be disappointed!

We came across this gem while at the East Beach/EOV Farmers' Market on Saturday! Everything on the menu looked delicious but we couldn't pass up the corn pancakes. They were truly amazing! Light, fluffy, and flavorful but not overly sweet. We shared a picnic table with another couple who came to the market specifically to eat The Silver Fox's food. They each had breakfast sandwiches that looked enticing.I also loved that they had a system that texted when the food was ready so we could wander around and enjoy other vendors while waiting. I'm now following them on Instagram to catch up with them again soon!

Beautiful food truck at Big Ugly Brewery. Not pictured was the BLT that my wife was very much looking forward to. She gave it 4 stars because it was a little too boujee for her! She's a classic BLT girl. The chicken sandwich was delicious! The bread was on point! Fresh and crunchy. My daughter got the rice and said it was a little cold but tasted delicious! Also got the brownie and my wife said it was "the JAM!"One of the better food trucks that has visited Big Ugly!

This is probably my favorite food truck in the 757. Beautiful ingredients done right with quality and finesse. I love trying new things on the menu the latest being a peach burrata salad with green goddess chicken. Nice people & great food.

I've had their Spinach Artichoke Grilled Cheese a few times, it's always so good and everyone at the truck is so friendly!

This is one of my favorite food trucks in Hampton Roads! They serve super fresh, delicious food made with local ingredients. Really a farm to table experience via truck. The service was friendly, and the owners are so nice. Highly recommend the chicken and rice bowl with mouthwatering chipotle sauce. The lemon and blueberry scone was one of the best I ever had. Super cute truck, great for events!

What an amazing and special creation that this husband and wife team have made. I was given the opportunity to enjoy their food at a recent local event where an abundance of food trucks, personal chefs, and caterers alike displayed a creative outlook on specialized cuisine.I must say that The Silver Fox offered my favorite bite (crostini with whipped black pepper ricotta, roasted red grapes, pan fried and marinated eggplant in garlic and mint, and basil microgreens). They put a lot of creativity in this, and it really paid off.The level of professionalism from the uniforms and their willingness to chat, to the small touches such as keeping their workspace clean, was a refreshing touch to the food truck world. I look forward to my next meal with them, which will be very soon

I can't say enough great things about The Silver Fox! They were a food vendor at my recent wedding, and throughout the entire process they were amazing. The customer service, communication, efficiency, and food was all incredible!

We were fortunate to discover The Silver Fox Food Truck on a Saturday night at Vibrant Shore Brewing and I couldn't be more pleased. Everything looked SO good that we decided to order one of everything for our group, so we could try it all.The Peruvian Sandwich was AMAZING. It has a little bit of a kick to it and great flavor. The bun it was on was excellent.The tomato soup with the sour cream and onion biscuit was also EXCELLENT. I could eat those biscuits every meal.The chicken and rice bowl is a fantastic choice for someone looking to eat a healthier option. We went back out and ordered a number of Oatmeal Cream Pies. To be honest we should have gotten a dozen! The buttercream frosting was DELICIOUS!I am not sure how we have never found this food truck before, but we will be sure to find it again ... really soon!
