My favorite small town bookstore! They offer a good selection of new and used books. The owners are also the sweetest and super helpful!

I'm still a hands on book reader not yet getting into downloads. I like the store and the owners as it is comfortable and they have an amazing variety and volume of books. You can bring your books in for credit which is a nice benefit considering how fast I can collect them. Get off the phone and check it out.

Great selection of books. They don't seem to have a lot of "academic" books if you are looking for a textbook. Great prices on used literature. I have also found their used book exchange to be helpful. This place definitely has a better selection than the book store in downtown.

Love this place!! Could spend all day browsing their shelves. They have a great local section. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. And best of all... You can trade your old books for store credit!! Then you only pay pennies for the books you take home! I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this place :)

My latest interest in reading has me looking around in this used book store. Since I have nothing to compare it with it's the best one I've seen and the only one in Elizabeth City. They give you credit for books that you turn in and you can shop with credit dollars. So you're reading for free or very cheap. My wife has lots of credit here from all the paper backs she turned in.To the untrained eye, this looks like a mess. This is not your public library or a Barnes & Noble but once you've figure out the layout, it's not too difficult to find something. The staff, which is usually one person, is helpful and they can pretty much point you in the right direction. There are books everywhere including on the floor. I'm sure they could use more space. This was an old house that is now in the commercial district. I didn't get a book on this trip as they didn't have anything that was on my very short list. I will get some more books on the list and go back soon.

One of the best features this town has to offer. Knowledgable staff. Books at great prices. Even a small area for kids to play while adults browse.
