The Northampton Restaurant

A delicious breakfast to start off the day. We came during the off season and this place was bustling! We sat outside on the deck which has a nice view of the ocean. Service was friendly, coffee was good. If we're back in the area we'll be back!

My wife and I had breakfast outside on the porch. She had the egg and vegatable crepe and I had the salmon and egg crepe. We also wanted to try the truffle fries. Both crepes were delicious and the truffle fries were good. If you like truffle than you will love them. We like truffle but a little too much for us but no complaints. Service was great.

Went down to Cape Charles for lunch with a friend yesterday. Enjoyed a Crepe with scrambled eggs locks and feta. We also ordered an order of fries with truffle oil. Enjoyed a cappuccino with brunch. Service was good. We had hopped to sit out on the veranda to eat but the cool weather is on us. All in all a pleasant meal in a "clean and well lit room".

Great service the Cuban sandwich was delicious and the chicken croissant was amazing great dining on the porch

I forgot to take pictures here because we were getting ready to watch the Festive Friday parade that was going to go by, but I will say that I liked the atmosphere. The weather was still decent enough that it wasn't too cold outside so we sat on the porch. There's two entrances - one to the actual hotel and the one to the restaurant. The one to the restaurant is towards the left of the porch, not the door that you hit when you walk up the stairs and I think some people weren't really paying attention to that difference lol. It's okay though, they figured it out eventually.We sat on the porch to watch the sun set and get ready for the parade and we ordered the truffle fries. I almost got two orders. It's basically appetizer size and that's fine but oh my gosh it was great! The cheese wasn't shredded or anything but its okay. It was still tasty and some of the best truffle fries I've had. Still wish I had more. That's all we had for food. Price wasn't bad either for a hotel cafe.

Hands down one of my favorite breakfast spots! Great service and food! The view of the harbor is very nice as well!

Perfect brunch spot on historic front porch. Friendly service and delicious food. Loved the Bloody Mary bar and the beignets. Will definitely be back.

Impressed by Yelp reviews, we chose North Hampton Inn for brunch. Our initial welcome was lukewarm, and despite asking for a table for 6, we were directed to a corner where I waited 12 minutes for menus. With 6 outdoor tables and 3 servers, the restaurant seemed manageable. We ordered promptly but were warned of potential delays. Although we understood, frustration arose when 4 post-arrival tables, ranging from 2-4 guests, were served before us. Our order, including 2 sets of waffles, 1 crepe, 1 beignets, 1 seared tuna sandwich, and a grilled cheese, seemed like a 15-minute ticket. Regrettably, we waited an hour for our meals. The serving process was staggered, with 3 meals first, then a 5-minute gap, and a further 7-minute wait for the grilled cheese. Wondering how the flooded tasted....waffles were hard, fruit fruit was hot (sat under the heat lamp), beignets were doughy, tuna sandwich was cooked well done not seared, slaw wasn't Asian style but mayo based and the grilled cheese was open faced and cheese wasn't melted. The only item worth noting were the crapes. As for apologies, they were limited, and no offers for extra drinks or discounts were made. As someone with experience in the industry, I've never encountered such poor service on both fronts. My disappointment goes beyond words. Wishing the establishment better luck in the future.

Amazing boutique hotel! Staff was attentive and amazing. The rooms are quaint and clean. My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary weekend. Love it here!

Love the porch! Their food was delicious. They have limited days and hours, so check in advance.
