The Graceful Baker

I ordered a quarter sheet cake the same as I ordered last year which is 9 x 13 as most people know what I got was a cake about half that size and Tiffany informed me that that was a quarter sheet cake I've been ordering quarter sheet cakes, my whole life and This is not one so I will be finding me a new baker

It is my opinion that everything here is made with patience and skill, because the taste and texture is beyond superior and you can find nothing comparable at grocery stores. The Graceful Baker's Carrot Cake is seriously the best I've ever had! If you're a fan of carrot cake, this carrot cake puts your taste buds and salivary glands into party mode!In my experience it is hard to find a chocolate cake that surprises me. Most chocolate cakes in my opinion are mediocre at best. However, The Graceful Baker's Chocolate Cake is fluffy and delicious and had an amazing accommodating buttercream icing. I'm a fat boy that loves great food. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I had a wonderful experience today at The Graceful Baker on Small Business Saturday!

Wanted a little something sweet after my daughters appointment and this was just 4 minutes away in Downtown Franklin on Main Street. The ladies were super friendly when we walked in.. their little helper ( a cute little boy) said HELLO!! with a beautiful smile. They had a small variety of treats- from muffins to cake pops and cheesecake - but also had fresh made chef salads. They had a pretty looking Banana pudding - family size for $12. I grabbed 2 pieces of cake- carrot and lemon. 3.50$ a piece- hefty looking pieces and she let me pick out which ones I wanted. Grabbed an Oreo cheesecake slice and a chocolate chip muffin. All for $12. They also have a little array of small gifts. Handmade soaps shaped like desserts, earrings, key chains, candles which all look to be locally made which I find amazing. I was told by one of nice ladies they start the day with cupcakes also. And the variety changes. I just took a couple bites of the lemon cake and it had just the right amount of lemon and sweetness - with a yummy lemon filling. I definitely found it to be the perfect "small town bakery" . They said they do specialty cakes made to order and cupcakes. Worth a stop in!!

There she stood, the rhythmic glow of her cigarette illuminating the surrounding fog as she took each drag... she stood like a lighthouse, signaling, warning of the dangers of getting too close... But, I didn't alter my course. After all, it's a new bakery! And who doesn't love going into a new bakery? Taking in all the sweet smells of freshly unboxed baked goods and a freshly-brewed K Cup of coffee... i pushed through the lingering smoke and I was greeted warmly, and, unfortunately, that was the peak of my experience. My attention shifted to the oddly familiar box of macarons. It was the same exact box that I walk right past in Sam's Club, just more expensive. This made me wonder what they do actually bake themselves, if anything. If you don't want to pay more for store-bought baked goods then you're in luck! They also, for some reason, have chicken salad and small pizzas! I couldn't decide what I was willing to risk trying and settled for a cupcake. I do have to give credit where credit is due, and I must confess that they seemed to have followed the directions on the box pretty well. There were a couple items that were visibly homemade, and I do hope they tasted better than they looked... but I won't be finding out for myself. I also got a coffee, and it was actually okay! But, for the price, there's much better coffee around.All in all, they seem lost in their own foggy idea of a bakery and i hope they find their way... until then, you can find their baked goods cheaper at the store
