I would give 4.5 stars but no portion to do so. 1/2 star knocked off for not accepting CC. Cash or checks only. Great price for starter plants, lots of varieties on Heirloom tomatoes. $2.50 - $3.50 is practically half of other stores. You just have to bring CASH to pay.

A small highway stand they do offer various locally grown produce. Their selections always seem to be more than adequate. Several varieties of tomatoes are offered which one needs to produce stuffed tomatoes. Nice large tomatoes work well for this recipe. It's a nice neighborhood store that offers different products made by local artisans with their pickles, honey, jams, and the like. It's a big plus in my book for local vegetable freshness

Easily the best place to get fresh and/or local produce in Gloucester as well as local honey, eggs, and an assortment of Amish products. They even sell oysters, shrimp, and crab. Farmer Jeff is knowledgeable and always greets you with a smile. Anytime I'm in the area I stop in to grab something new

I drive from Williamsburg for this produce. Delicious tomatoes, heirloom, regular, grape, yellow, everything, all picked and placed with care. They have excellent cantaloupe, and a variety of locally grown produce, all at fair prices. The people working are wonderful, and always offer to help you to your car when you invariably buy too much.

Beautiful produce, wonderful personable salespeople. We were there last week specifically looking for green beans. Picked up 1/2 bushel and am heading back for more. Very helpful and very nice people. Always glad to support local farmers, and this place doesn't get any more down to earth than that!

Foods are fresh. However, the employees need help with arithmetic and the scales. I was told that the items I was ready to pay for came to $8.25. I questioned that. Turns our I owed $5.25, or so I was told. After returning 2 tomatoes that weighed 12 oz. My bill came to $2.75. This happened at the Farmer's Daughter on Rt. 17above Gloucester Court House. These employees need to learn arithmetic, now the use the scales. Maybe a hand-held calculator would help if they don't now arithmetic.
