The food was fairly good here and felt very homey. I can tell there are regulars who come here because they were eating small dishes that weren't on the menu. However, if you call, you can request for specific food separately. I thought the price was kind of expensive, but most of the food (it was fall themed) was very good and gave you the good cozy feeling. They have a shared parking lot with other shops next door, but parking is fairly easy.

I took my granddaughter to ERTR for a sweet tea experience. She loved it and so did my grandson. The atmosphere was sweet and full of magical wonder. They were kind to give us a table because we didn't have a reservation. We tried calling but we were informed they only take reservations online via FB and Insta. The food was yummy and my overall experience was great. I think the price was a little high but with today's economy I didn't expect much less. I wouldn't take small children unless you know they can handle a true tea room atmosphere. There are lots of breakables at every turn. That being said take a friend for tea. You'll really enjoy this spot.

The English Rose Tea Room is an outstanding experience! When we were there the place was full and we could overhear everyone's oohhhs and aahhhs as they enjoyed their food. I highly recommend a visit. You must make reservations, as the tables are limited. Enjoy!

First of this was our first tea party we ever done and we were delighted and thrilled to come here. There two ladies working the tea shop and was astonished how they prepared the place in serving the teas. I had the typical Jazmine green tea and my daughter had the earl grey but I forgot what my wife ordered as it was something close to the taste as coffee as she is a coffee lover. Anyways we had the scones first then a two tier fruit and sandwiches of cucumber, tomatoes and a marbled bread with an orange spread and oh chicken salad sandwiches. And the last piece of resistance... raspberry bread pudding. The scones were moist and soft, full of flavor with tons of various fruits inside. Jam was decent and the butter was simple though the scones steals the show. Sandwiches were tasteful and filling. As for the tea, excellent and full bodied with tons of flavor... steep to perfection. We will definitely come back again. Too bad it is only open 11-3.

Quaint atmosphere that brought to life visions of tea in a small sitting room with friends. 12-13 tables in all. Homey vibe with many tea cups and nicknacks to view. I tried a Lady Earl Grey with a hint of vanilla that was very good. The lunch special was a good portion size which is more consistent to English tea and not an all you can eat buffet that Americans seem to expect. Nice raspberry salad, cup of broccoli soup, and a chicken salad croissant. The salad had a tasty raspberry vinaigrette with accompanying full raspberries. Broccoli soup was lacking and tasted like cup of soup, and the chicken salad was basic with no frills but filling. Very friendly personnel. Over all, reasonable pricing and worth a visit.

DisappointedI took my sister and aunt for tea last week. My sister and I each had the "royal tea" which was over $30 + tax each. It was so disappointing. I have been to a number of tea rooms in MD, PA, as well as in England. The prices here are very high but the portions and food quality are low. The "sandwiches" were tiny. The "sweets" were tiny 1" treats that you could buy at Walmart or Sam's Club. The quiche and soup were not hot. I will not be back and definitely do not recommend it. I have been to this tea room in the past and not had this experience. Possibly it is under new ownership or struggling financially. Also, customers arrived, stood by the front door and waited for quite a while before the host/server came out. In addition, it is disappointing that you cannot find their menu online and you cannot talk to anyone there by phone.
