Pan fried oysters were great! Crab cakes too. Skip the sangria, though. Great that it was open off season. Good service!

Food was amazing, service was great! Ambiance beautiful! They offered a buffet as well as menu options, birthday dinner we reserved was perfect and the aesthetic of this restaurant was true local & outer banks feel. I also left the night with a great slice of coconut cake which was delicious, highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions and or a good dinner!

A gone by error of something that was really good and special at one time! Fish snapper, rockfish were overcooked. Snapper had flavor but overcooked! The one old fashion was good. Missed the cheese and crackers. Service was good! No flounder in a seafood restaurant was disappointing. As much as I love the atmosphere, I'm sorry to say that we will not return.

This place advertises as being open from 9-2 for brunch, Tuesday-Saturday but they are not. We just went and found the place closed with no explanations.

Shrimp and grits were awesome and their chowder was different but worth the try. We went for brunch and would definitely come back again. The inside was cute and unexpected, service was friendly.

Having eaten at Owens several times, I was sad to see it sold. Willing to give the new place a try. What a disappointment. We were a party of seven adults celebrating a birthday. Our waitress arrived and took our drink orders. While waiting discussion was of the buffet Three of our group decided to give the buffet $39.99 a try. There is steak and prime rib included in the buffet you have to ask for that seperately. An adjoining table got up to leave and told one of our group that if we were thinking of the buffet, DON'T. Said it was horrible. So we were all back to the menu still waiting for our drink order, 1 martini, 2 glasses of wine and several soft drinks to arrive . Meanwhile, we ordered appetizers. Calamari and tuna bites. Sorry no tuna bites. Seafood Markets are plentiful in the Outer Banks, one of the seafood capitals of the East Coast and this restaurant did not have tuna. Switched to Crab Remick which was good except for the stale pita wedges that accompanied it. Still waiting on drinks. Main orders included Rib eye, Filet Mignon, Shrimp and Grits and Fried Shrimp. Sides included Macaroni and cheese ,( obviously not house made, served in microwave container and cold and tasted like it came from the Dollar tree), Steak fries and Asparagus. ( they were out of asparagus). Our reservation was for 5:30, not at the end of service. (Could someone please make a run to the Fresh Market) Only one of our group thought their food was good. Fried shrimp was something out of a bag from Costco. Nothing except the salad was freshly made. At the end of the meal , the cook came to our table, wearing sweats and a dirty apron, did not want to see that. Asked for the bill and again it took forever to get response. Had to go look for the waitress to pay for our meal. We dropped over $500 there and no one was happy. They are trying to be fine dining with prices that reflect fine dining but quality is more Golden Corral. Bottom line Service C-. Service was slow in February when there were only locals in town. What is going to happen in July when the tourists arrive? Assuming they are still in business Food D- Should be lower, but one of our group enjoyed his steak. Price F. As stated they are trying to be a four star. Not even close, prepackaged food and microwaved food is not a fine dining restaurant.
