The Bunker Brewpub

We stopped in around 2:30 this past Saturday and had delicious burgers! The bacon jam and pretzel roll were really good. My husband and son wanted "regular" burgers and they were able to order to their wishes.

We were there on a week night, and ended up playing trivia with some cool Ohio travelers for the evening. The place was packed with trivia players, and locals. The Bunker has many flavors and styles of beer to choose from and the atmosphere was very nice. The bartender and servers were prompt and polite, and their merch was well done - and there is plenty of it. We didn't order food, but many folks had plates at their tables and they were cleared, not many leftovers noticed during my trips in and out of the bar.Overall, I'd give this place 6 stars if I could, we visited The Bunker the following night as well, both visits were stellar for us.

I've never been to Virginia Beach, but if all restaurants are like this one, I'm moving here!! I have never had such amazing food and beer anywhere! The beer menu was extensive, and the food menu was full of delicious options. My coworker had the seafood pasta, which looked fresh and she loved. The chicken tacos were unreal - breaded chicken tenders with honey chipotle sauce, slaw, and some awesome Mexican spiced pasta salad. But honestly - and this is odd - the star of the show was the Pineapple Grenade wheat beer. It was so light, so fruity and so refreshing!! We also had the miso caramel ice cream sandwich, which was unreal!!If you're in the area, EAT HERE! (I may be back tomorrow!)

I really enjoyed the beers here this afternoon and the owner and everyone are just awesome. My one and only issue is that I HATE different prices for cash or credit cards. To me this is an insult and I do not appreciate it as a customer. I do not care if every single restaurant and bar in Virginia Beach charge this fee. It absolutely pisses me off as a customer and it just sucks and it gives me a very poor opinion of small business. The worst part is having someone tell me it's "only 3 percent" or everyone else is charging it so just deal with it and pay. This is super disappointing.

5 stars, highly recommend! The service was phenomenal, bartender was super friendly and even gave us a list of must visit restaurants while in Virginia Beach on vacation. We only got an appetizer, the fried pickles, which were yummy and came out quickly. They had this wonderful sauce to dip them in. There was a nice variety of beers to select from. I'm partial to sours, my mom likes IPAs, dad likes stouts, and husband enjoys ales, and we all enjoyed our drinks. The vibe was awesome, lots of funny signs all over the place, etc. The bathrooms were nice and clean, which was appreciated. Definitely recommend checking out if in Virginia Beach!

Good beer and good bartender conversation and service. They have many different guest taps available for all your beer needs. Inside had had a lot of seating at the bar and table seating. A couple tables and chairs outside but not much.

Great little brewpub. Large selection of beer and solid menu. Located by the ocean front, I went during the off-season, so its probably a lot more crowded during the summer. Still a good option than the usual bars on the block. Parking can be a little tough.

Yes, yes, 100% yes, COME HERE! Best margaritas on this planet (they make their own sour mix) and the fried pickles are to die for. Wednesdays are trivia nights, so it gets pretty busy and loud so just keep that in mind. Will continue to frequent this little gem.

We came on a Saturday around 3 PM. We keep saying we're going to experience the nightlife(band), but we always forget. We had the flight for $16. I like sweet drinks so I got the tart mofo mango sour ale, Thank you thank you you too. imperial tart mofo raspberry sour, hard tea original hoop tea, guava passionfruit down east cider. We started with the chicken wing appetizer obay seasoned w/ blue cheese. It was delicious. Love the way they fried their wings hard. The beer flight is a choice of 4 beers from their lineup. I enjoy sweet drinks so of course I chose what I thought would be sweet. The hard tea original hoop tea reminds me of the twisted teas lemon very good for those who like sweet drinks. All of my suggested items were good though. For entrees we got the shrimp tacos and the chicken ranch taco. My husband absolutely loved the chicken ranch tacos. The shrimp tacos were also tasty. Our bil was $81 b4 tax. We had an appetizer, two entrées , one flight of beers, one seal , a tea and a sprite. Service was quick. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Food was hot & delicious. One negative there were small gnats flying around. Just a few near our table but I also saw someone else swatting at something which I assumed was a gnat. There weren't a lot of them but enough for me to take notice. However it did not take away from the experience. I would definitely visit here again. Can't wait to come back next year this time.I added some pictures from when we were here last year also. I had seafood pasta my hubby had fish tacos. Both were good. We love this spot. They charge a service fee for paying with a card. It's around $3.

Good beer, good food, attentive bartender, all around neat place right off Virginia Beach.
