She is awesome! She worked with our budget when she catered my wedding reception. The food was so tasty, we asked her to cater our Thanksgiving dinner in our home. The portions were huge and of course, delicious.I definately recommend her

Chef Noemi is a wonderful person to work with. I have used her several times for dinner for my family and an intimate dinner for two. The food was excellent, the service amazing and the experience unforgettable. I will definitely continue to use her in the future. Thanks Chef Noemi!

Noemi catered my wedding in Williamsburg for about 70 people. We did a family style dinner and everything turned out amazing. We requested both bbq and marinated chicken breasts. The chicken was amazing. It was so juicy, which it typically rare for wedding food. The bbq was super flavorful, we requested Carolina style bbq, and I wish we had requested extra vinegar sauce for the side, it was just a touch dry, but still delicious (and what we had asked for). The high point for my husband was the mac and cheese, which was super creamy and cheesy. We got so many compliments on the food. Everyone was thrilled with their dinner. She also prepares a cocktail hour for our guests, while unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy it, (to much time spent taking picture, I wish I had asked for her to make us a small plate to enjoy during that time) everyone raved about how awesome it was. We had some of the standard wedding snacks, cheese, charcuterie, and veggies, and what I was really excited for, a biscuit bar! The biscuit bar was a huge hit with everyone. She made a sausage gravy that our guests could not get enough of. Noemi also set up our dessert table for us (which looked awesome) and provided a bartender for our wine and beer bar. The bartender did have some difficulty getting the beer set up and poured, some of our friends provided some assistance here, and knowing which wine to chill. The only small criticism I had, which I didn't specifically ask for, was there was no salt and pepper on the tables. Many of my guests asked for some and the only salt they had was in the large box from the kitchen. Overall I was thrilled with Noemi and her team though, and if I had it to do over again I would hire her again. I would say that the 70 guests we had did seem to be about her upper limit however. I can't wait to hire her again for some smaller parties!

Chef Noemi catered my family reunion banquet. The food was very very good and the service was excellent. We needed plates for appetizers that the hotel was supposed to provide and did not have, Chef Noemi sent her staff out to get some, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up perfectly. I definitely recommend her for your event. Thank you Chef Noemi.

Firstly, this review is quite lengthy but necessary...I came across Noemi and the Bronx Gourmet 30 days before my wedding. My previous caterer had to have emergency surgery and thankfully Noemi was available to cater my wedding. She contacted me right away via my Thumbtack inquiry and we set the date for the tasting. The food at the tasting was very good! However, the day of my wedding was a different story. For my cocktail hour I had two fruit trays and spinach dip with pita crackers. The first thing I noticed after my ceremony were red and white paper food trays on the table with my fruit and spinach dip. My wedding was held at a very elegant venue and my wedding colors were white and gold. The food trays Noemi displayed on the table for cocktail hour were something that would be used at a barbeque or a carnival. For a wedding, it was inappropriate for the food items being served and extremely tacky. We had to grab dessert plates that I purchased for the reception and use those for cocktail hour instead. There were also many complaints from my guests about the fruit on the fruit trays being very dirty. None of the fruit had been washed off. One of my guest had to grab a bottled water to pour over her grapes to rinse them off. Another one of my guests, had a spider in her fruit. This was brought to Noemi's attention. Her solution to this was to remove the food tray and take it back to the kitchen. While the spider may or may not have been any fault of Noemi's, the fact is the fruit was dirty and this could have been alleviated if the time was taken to properly rinse off the fruit before serving.During dinner, the dinner plates served to my husband and I weren't hot. My wedding director mentioned this to Noemi. I wanted to make sure that when my guest came up for the buffet that their food was hot. While the food was good, it was luke warm at best. The buffet line also moved quite slowly since there were only two people working the buffet line. I had 100 guests at my wedding and Noemi assured me that three staff personnel would be on hand to serve the buffet line. This was also listed on the invoice and not fulfilled.Towards the end of the night, it was pointed out to me that none of the guest dinner plates had been removed from the table. Once again, it clearly states on the invoice that part of the services I paid for included the "clearing of any dishes left by guests". Noemi also stated verbally that her and her staff would go around to the guest tables after dinner to remove the disposable replica dinner plates and discard of them. I realized that Noemi had already left the venue without honoring our contractual agreement. I then had to step away from my wedding to call her. After playing phone tag, and leaving a couple of voices messages, Noemi left me a message stating that she had done her job, removed her trash and cleaned the kitchen. As far as the guest dishes, she stated that my guests said they were going to "come back up". I'm not sure which one of my guests Noemi spoke with, but neither her or the other staff member came around to ANY of my guest tables to remove the guest plates. Her job was to go around to each table and collect the plates. This was not done. Not one plate was removed by Noemi or the other individual she had on her staff. As a bride the last thing you need on your wedding day is unnecessary stress. Everything about my wedding was amazing. Sadly, all the issues that arose was due to the Bronx Catering. After the wedding, quite a few of my guests stayed behind to help discard of the guest dinner plates. This was not supposed to be the job of my guests. I paid Noemi to do this job, and she failed to do it. While she took out some of her trash prior to leaving, part of the trash would've also came from the guest dinner plates. So, NO all the trash was not removed. The day after the wedding, I called Noemi and didn't get an answer. I then emailed her all my concerns and requested some of my money back since she did not fulfill her contractual agreement. Noemi replied and stated that unfortunately she couldn't give me any of my money back because she did indeed fulfill the contract on her end. She also stated that my guests "seemed very happy with the evening". Ultimately, my guests did not pay Noemi, I did and I was extremely displeased with her service on my wedding day and lack of customer service in addressing my issues. Noemi definitely DID NOT fulfill her contractual agreement. If the agreement states that part of the services included "clearing of any dishes left by guests" and NONE of the guest dishes were cleared, then Noemi clearly did not fully do the job that I paid her to do. In addition to all of this, Noemi has ignored my previous email request for a partial refund. While I feel Noemi is a good cook, her customer service has been terrible. I 100% regret hiring her as my wedding caterer.
