The Back Deck

July 26, 2024 - Three for dinner.Went for a meal , not to hang and drink, so maybe not a great spot for that. Horrible parking and lot design and layout was ridiculous and dangerous. Cars backing out of little spots and a little craziness.Service was okay, big bar and drinking crowd and very packed......seemed to need a few more servers and bar folks. Food was decent. Fresh and nicely made and presented. Great view and location. I would go back again but maybe not in the later evening or on the weekend.

Came on the weekend just before Sunset and remembered how difficult it was to get a table as it's a first come first serve basis and you just grab a table as someone leaves. Not the best method in my opinion but most people seem to hang out by the bar. Place has a great view for the Sunset and meaty oysters, but I wouldn't suggest for a date. More-so, a casual vibe for a hangout spot.

Awesome place for social drinking! The deck out back is spacious and the workers are very attentive! I didn't try the food but they looked pretty good for simple eats! Highly recommend for drinks and pretty

We come here for drinks on the water. The service and food are lacking. I usually just walk to the bar and order my drinks there. It's nice outside, I have not seen their retail area or indoor restaurant. So if you enjoy self service on the water this might be the spot for you.

The service is really quick. It's seat yourself but our waitress still found us in a sea of people with in 5 minutes. We sat down for happy hour on a Wednesday so I got two coors, two vodka sodas, a pizza, and a pound of shrimp for $50 including tip (one round of drinks wasn't on the happy hour special). I always love coming here and sitting on the water, watching the boats go by or fill up their tanks, very chill. Great spot during the summer. Just come early if you want a seat!

This place is plain expensive we had lunch there no drinks no alcohol drinks and our tab came to $90. My wife ordered some clams. I ordered a sandwich and crab dip. Wife like the clams but with how can you screw up a clam. Sandwich had little flavor I had chipotle sauce.Eh, the chicken was tasteless Granted this place has one of the best views of the water and sometimes that's all you really need for a good lunchtime. Staff was pretty good although they're timing always seem to be off when we needed them. We had to flag them down When we didn't need them they came to our table. I just think two bucks of oyster for steamed oyster is a bit high, especially if it doesn't come with anything else.

Another great spot right on Shore Dr! If you know me, you know that I love crab legs. This is another go-to spot for me to get some of those delicious crab legs and they are always top-notch.The Back Deck technically only offers outdoor seating, however, a good portion of it is fully covered and on those really hot days, they've got decently sized fans blowing. Although, when you're eating right out on the water like that, a breeze isn't too hard to come by. They have regular tables as well as a full-service bar.This is one of those places where every waiter and staff member seems to take care of you. If your drink runs empty, it's quickly being refilled by the closest individual, whether that be "your" waiter or not. Not to mention everyone here seems to genuinely enjoy their jobs and are always putting on a friendly face.By far one of my favorites parts of this place is that it is pet friendly! We love to bring the dogs here, while catching up over brunch. The waitstaff is always quick to bring out dog bowls for us as well and keeps them full! Overall, great place to stop!

My wife and I went here on a Sunday evening at about 5 o clock. It wasn't super busy but there was a good amount of people there. We sat down and immediately were served and the service was amazing and extremely quick. They have an interesting service system there were you don't have just one server but all the servers share all the tables. Everyone was very attentive and the food and drinks came out very fast. The dining area is right on the water and the views are great, they have lots of TV's if you want to watch a game, overall the atmosphere was great. We started off with the crab dib which was good and you get a lot, at $15 I thought it was a little bit pricey but you get a lot of it which was nice. I got the fish tacos and my wife got a flatbread pizza. The fish tacos were good my only gripe was that they had a little bit of an off putting fishy taste but overall they were good. My wife loved the pizza and the pizza was huge. We will definitely be back!

Awesome environment with a great view!! The drinks and the nachos were delicious. The servers were very friendly. Great service! My wife and I definitely will return to this establishment.
