Margarita of the month was fantastic! So happy I got to try it! Place is super cute and fun inside! Food is a do it your own menu! So, the menu is brought out to you and you fill the card out of what you want to eat which is fun! Came for music bingo and it was a great time! Bartender is friendly and welcoming as well!

We recently had lunch at 619 Cantina on High Street near the Old Town section in the heart of Portsmouth.They have some fantastic items on their menu but we were looking for tacos and theirs were really good. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful with menu questions and suggestions. We had some great food and conversations here. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

We stopped in for happy hour and ordered the rolled up tacos. So good! Even though they are deep fried they were not too greasy and it was an inexpensive filling meal!

Hidden market adjustment fees will have you paying more than the advertised price. Beware and check your receipts.

Went here for some tasty tacos on taco Tuesday. Food is good, great margaritas... BUT beware of the inflation fee they charge. No one told us about any extra fees, and it was nowhere obvious on the menu, but when we got our bill we were charged a "market adjustment fee" of about 8%. When we asked the waitress, she told us it was a city tax, which was obviously not the case. Food is good, but I don't love when places aren't up front about extra fees. It left a sour taste in my mouth and we won't be back.

Burrito was amazing. Nothing pre cooked here. Authentic and made fresh. John at the bar made the best margarita I've had in a long time. I have found my favorite date night spot. They even have live music on a few nights each week. Fun and relaxing. Thanks 619

john! what an amazing bartender/server. he was friendly, helpful, and quick. the drinks were really good. we all got happy hour margaritas, and they were all delicious. john suggested the habanero lime, and it was a hit at our table. the food was plentiful and very tasty. my party of seven had a variety of things, and everything was good. we had HUGE burritos, carne asada fries, nachos, and a make your own bowl. no one was unsatisfied. would definitely go back.

Friendly service, good ambiance, but the place smelled of rancid beer. The food had a weird twangy taste and made me and my guest rush to use the bathroom; I spit-up on the way. Naturally, I will most likely not return after spending money to feel sick and to make my business colleague unsettled.

Great bartending service! Absolutely have a great time every time. Come here as often as I can make taco Tuesday and they're HUGE and delicious. And there's more types of tequila than you can count.

I recently had my birthday dinner at the 619 Cantina on 4/15/1986. I originally wanted to go to a spot in Norfolk, bc that place had Barria tacos and that's what I was craving. BUT, my friends suggested this spot and it was more conveniently located for everyone, so we went. This was my second visit here, the first being on a first date with my now boyfriend. From what I remembered, the food was good, the drinks were too, and there was the sentiment of the date, so we went. The service was terrible. The place was not busy at all, we sat outside, and the waitress was very rude from the jump. She spilled drinks twice on my friends, rushed us to order, didn't explain how the menu worked (you mark on the actual menu), and the service was just trash. Which was disappointing bc she knew it was a birthday dinner. Im not sure if she thought we didn't have money, but I felt so strongly about the service that I decided to write the review anyway.The food was ok this time around, about a 50/50 split on the group. I enjoyed mine, my friends not so much. Our kids were with us and they enjoyed theirs as well. FUN FACT! We paid our bill in its entirety and went back and forth on whether or not to tip. Next time, please don't assume the customer is broke and thus provide bad service. Extremely disappointed end to what was supposed to be a great birthday.
