I'm on the other side of the country and I ordered a cake from Tessa for my son's birthday. Tessa was a pleasure to work with. She delivered the cake to my son's home in Norfolk. He said it was "delicious," "10 out of 10," and "I don't know how she did it, but the frosting tasted just like the Oreo filling." Thank you, Tessa, for helping me make my son's birthday special.

So far just had the tasting but WOOOOWWW. Everything was so good.Tessa was super helpful in the decision making process.And the store was cute :) can't wait to get the cake.

Tessa has made me the most amazing cakes. She takes ideas and makes personal, beautiful creations. Plus the cakes are delish!

Do not recommend this company for catering. The food is terrible. They catered an event for Khedive Shriners and the food did not represent the menu that was posted. The food was cold when served, over cooked and did not taste good at all. The plastic ware we used broke when trying to cut the food. I can't even say one good thing that tasted good. NOTHING!!!!!

oh my word!! I live in Northern VA - and my son goes to college in VA Beach - i found Tessa's on-line and by pictures - she gave me a GREAT cake for my son's 21st!! The cake was light and DELISH!!! The decorations were PERFECT!! Will be using Tessa's again and HIGHLY recommend Tessa's for your bakery needs!!

The children enjoyed everything about the unicorn cake! Put in a late order & it still came out to be exactly what her heart desired. Overall experience was great. The cake was perfect !!! Thank You!!!

Tessa helped create a dessert table at our wedding to die for! We contacted her 1 week before our wedding with a request for 144 dessert items, and she not only was able to complete our order, but she delivered them as well! She kept all of the dessert items within our color scheme and created different designs for each kind of dessert! The dessert table was such a hit at the wedding, many of our wedding guest were asking how to purchase more desserts from Tessa. We highly recommend Tessa's Creations for any occasion requiring sweets!

I had a last minute request for a birthday cake, and asked if she could make a Rise cake, similar to May's Parlor, late on a Friday afternoon. She was obviously busy with Christmas orders, but still had the cake ready first thing Saturday morning. The cake was amazing and I definitely recommend this get added to the normal rotation in her shop. I will be coming her from now on for all birthdays and events.
