Tequila Jalisco

First time and I really enjoyed and most certainly would recommend. This is their second location in VB and an obvious flagship. It's very spacious and beautiful! They opened around 25 days ago. Parking is plentiful and around the building. It's a bit odd accessing, but no biggie. No debris in the lot. A hostess seated my wife and I on a weekend afternoon. It was slow. Menus provided. The dining room is huge! Service was immediate and friendly. Chips with salsa and white sauce was put out and excellent! No music was overhead. There is a stage for live musicians. Two top shelf 24 oz margaritas on the rocks were ordered. Upon return of our delicious drinks main orders were put in. I had the Buritto Jalisco with chicken. Food hit the table in around 20-25 minutes. The dish was hot and fresh and I loved it! Portion size was great, but the price point pushed in my opinion. My wife also enjoyed her dish which was a Buritto as well. The margaritas washed down some really great Mexican. Our waiter did check in. When wrapping up we asked for a desert menu, but I guess he forgot. The bill was processed with no issue. We also utilized the restrooms which were spacious and clean. I absolutely will return. 4.5 rounding down.

Very nice place. Been wanting to check out out for a while and had time to do so today. Staff was super polite and food was decent.

4 of us had dinner there (the old Landing Zone location) last Wednesday (Oct 29, 2023).Josè, the manager, greeted us and sat us at a table away from the bar.We were treated as the most welcomed guest.Drinks were had by all and dinner was served wonderfully and to our delight.The location is brand new for Tequila Jalisco who also has a very busy place on Shore Drive and one opening soon on Great Neck and th3 Boulevard.A wonderful place to try out.

This is located where Landing Zone used to be, and upon our first visit we were THRILLED to learn they kept our favorite LZ appetizer (lemon pepper wings) on the menu. Food is really good, and the staff is nice! Honestly, they may have the best white sauce in the area. I usually don't eat it at other local Mexican restaurants, but here I end up eating too many chips dipped in it and the salsa. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area!

Went to LZ Tequila Jalisco a few weeks back with a friend because we were in the mood for a margarita! Was in the area so we decided to stop and give it a try. WORTH IT! Not only were the margaritas delicious but the food was terrific. The owner, Jesus, was our server that day and his service was phenomenal! We got there right when they opened and benefited from trying samples of some of his drink ideas (a minty margarita and Mexican Moonshine, hello!) and some of the meat that was cooking over night (forgot to snap a pic before eating all of it) Highly recommend!!!!

Excellent food.Love the chicken and beef fajitas!Also love the fresh guacamole!Best in the area! In fact I ordered 2 to go to take to a friends party as an appetizer! It was a big hit!

Really nice staff and atmosphere! Fast service and good food. I will give the 5th star when I come back for a margarita!

New Great Neck location, food , service and ambiance was all excellent. I will recommend this restaurant.

I finally stopped here after passing it about a million times and I did not regret it. The service was friendly and efficient. The horchata was said to be made in house, which I fully believe, as you can feel the authenticity in the slightly gritty texture. Unlike many other restaurants, this horchata actually tasted like its ingredients and is not drowned in sugar. It was 100% perfect and reminds me of the restaurants I frequented in Los Angeles. My carnitas platter cost more than I usually spend on one meal for myself but it was so much that literally became three meals. There was so much meat. It was tender and perfectly seasoned. The refried beans taste like maybe there is a hint of chorizo but not so much that they're orange in color and the flavor overwhelms the beans. The rice has mixed vegetables in it, which I welcome as they were very moist. My husband ordered a combination plate with hard shell ground beef tacos (he's a little less adventurous than me) and they were not greasy and the hard shell held up. We had been to another location on Great Neck and were not impressed. We will 100% be back here.

This place is garbage and the manager himself was disrespectful and rude. I had to cuss him out in front of the restaurant. I was taking a while to find something to accommodate my picky 2 year old when I noticed the manager taking a video of me and my son. When I confronted him he denied it and showed me what he recorded that INCLUDED me and my son. I told him I was leaving and not giving them my business and he didn't hesitate to say "It's not like you were gunna order food anyway you came to eat free chips". I then proceeded to put him in his place and he walked away pretending he didn't engage me first. Finding out he was the manager said a lot about how they're running the business. The chicken/meat salad is less expensive than a house salad. The place is a joke and there's no variety to the food, it's a sports bar with a Mexican stamp on it. Go to Las palmas, plaza, or Camino real for real variety food and drinks. Place is horrible.
