This dive bar is lit. Came here while visiting the island and everyone was so lively and fun to talk to. Can't wait to come back

We went for pizza and drinks late Thursday night and that's what we got. Pizza is bar style pizza but was good. We also got shrimp in the basket with onion rings which was also pretty good. In total our bills for the night for 4 with plenty of drinks was $209. Kimmy was our waitress/bartender and did an amazing job keeping the drinks flowing. They had a DJ on a Thursday night so the place was pretty crowded. We went there through next night for some cocktails too.

I love this place. Straight forward, honest, omg string drinks. Fried oysters, open every day. Kimmie is fantastic. Onion rings, burgers, yeah, damn good food. Seriously what you want in any place--kind people, great service, good food

This review is solely based on the Drag show that we went to on a Friday night. We did not eat but we did drink. I got the feeling this was a locals bar....a bit divey....but hey I love a dive bar. The place was packed and you could tell there were a lot of regulars. We bought $10 tickets to the show and we waited. I have been to many drag shows in Virginia Beach and really just had no idea what to expect. Well...I am here to tell you that the Queens did not disappoint. It was high energy and fun!!! I would definitely recommend the drag show in Chincoteague at Teaguer's. Very well done. Is this bar fancy? Nope. Is it divey? Yup. Is it fun? Heck yea! Would I eat here? Probably not unless it was late night and I needed something. It's your typical bar food.....sandwiches, pizza, subs and burgers. Seafood is mostly fried. It's just not my kind of food when there are SO MANY restaurants to choose from. Anyways....go to the Drag Show.

TJ made my night, you don't know you need to be at teagers until TJ takes care of you! Definitely coming back just for his pretty face and phenomenal service!! 10/10 recommend!!

Locals watering hole. Great place to experience the island charm. No draft beer, so if that is your thing, this is not your place

Service was great my wife and I had Swiss and mushroom burger, fresh made and the fries were fresh cut. Great local fare.

Our waitress was hung over or drunk. She was jumping around playing with her feet showing other customers her foot that was hurt. She came out twice and told us that the Internet was down and our food will come out shortly. There was a couple in front of us. She brought their food out, and it looked very familiar like it was ours and I noticed they weren't happy about it so I asked them and the food that they received was ours everybody working in there was more interesting in the football game, then cooking or waiting on us. so I offered to pay for our orange juice and tea. She declined on our way out the door she screams number five is not waiting for food ... it was over an hour for breakfast

Stopped in this place for a casual dinner while in the area based on the website description which was completely inaccurate. As soon as we walked in, it smelled like cigarettes. This is clearly a locals only spot. We were told to sit anywhere but then it took the wait staff almost 10 min to come ask for our drink order. We felt uncomfortable and out of place - people playing pool were looking at us weird. They kept going in and out of the door of the dining room to smoke. My son got a cheeseburger and it smelled like onion soup mix. I got a BLT and it was inedible. Not sure how you screw up a BLT. The place was dirty, it was so hot (no AC in June) The bathroom was horrendous! I had to go and ask for our check and was waived to the bar to pay. They only seemed to care about the locals at the bar drinking. This is a bar! Not a restaurant to enjoy a meal.

Loved the place. Off the beat-n-path which I like. Food was great, bartender was respectful and the atmosphere is my kind of place. If you go in thinking you're gong in with a holier than thou attitude, stay away. These are locals and they make it great.
