Nice little eatery heading down the Camden County peninsula. It's actually the only place down that way! But it is great that there was someplace to go eat near by where I staying that I haven't tried yet.It has a nice, neat country style decor with two dining areas. There was a friendly and attentive young lady that greeted us that I was told was one of the owners. The only other person I saw appeared to be the cook. I believe they are open for breakfast and lunch only. I was there for breakfast and had a loaded omelet. It was basically a vegetable omelet with all the meats available and cheddar cheese. My sides were potatoes and wheat toast. The omelet was pretty good, well stuffed and tasty. The only issue I had was with the potatoes. They weren't homefries with onion and peppers as described on menu. They were sliced potatoes that were barely fried, so mostly white potato. Overall i like the place and I will try them again next trip to NC and update the review.

Camden's best kept secret! It was our first time coming to this place, and we were beyond impressed with the service. Our waitress (Samantha) gave us recommendations on not only the food, but with the area in general. We will definitely be sure to try out their dinner menu next! I've been informed that Samantha has really been the one that has turned the place around and has given the place her magic touch! We will def be back.

Had a late lunch the atmosphere was quiet, the booths were clean and well made. I had the cheeseburger and fries. Burger was very good fries were the best I've had in a long time. Crisp and not greasy. Good service.

Stopped in this restaurant based on the reviews, and wish we hadn't!! The "host" , who was also the only server, mumbled the whole time he was trying to take our order and obviously did not know the menu at all! I even had to ask him if he was new since he seemed clueless! Food was average, and we were the only ones in there. Another couple finally came in after a while. They must have had friends to write the good reviews!! The dessert case looked awful...nothing fresh or appealing. The service was so bad that we won't be back.

This review is on behalf of my boyfriend. We have driven by this nondescript little restaurant many times, but never stopped. Today two of the boys were working in the vicinity and decided to grab some take-out from Taylor's, simply as a matter of convenience. They ordered burgers & fries. Which I then had to hear about for 20 minutes. (Hence this review. I wanted to shut him up). He says they were among the best burgers ever. He said there were tons of desserts, too, however he didn't sample those. I'll be making the voyage soon and will put my two cents in.

Most horrible experience we've had in 30 years! Ate dinner for Valentines. Prime Rib was the special but we had a salad and vegetables of the day-- brocolli casserole, sweet pot something, spinach dip--unrecognizable and un-eatable! Even a bad salad! How can you mess up a salad?!?! Maybe they are known for breakfast or steaks or something but it's IMPOSSIBLE that these good reviews are for dinner!!Strange short, skinny man came out with apron as tho he was cook. Avoid when he's there... for sure!

Stopped in for lunch about a week ago on our annual trip to the outer banks. First time we ever went here on our way to visit Elizabeth City and we were not disappointed. My husband and I had the Bacon Cheeseburger stuffed jalapenos to start. We both LOVED them and the sauce it was served with. My husband had the pimento cheeseburger which was sooooo good and fries (fries were basic .... nothing special prefer something else tater tots / season fries / potato wedges) but the ranch we dipped it in was yummy and home made. I had the sausage gravy CFS with mashed potatoes and fried okra which was again outstanding. The chef came out and we commended him how good it was. We both left with full bellies in a food coma! The server young girl was not very knowledgeable about the menu but whatever ... the food was absolutely phenomenal. This place is literally in the middle of nowhere and I feel like it would do so much better in a more central place.
