I love the Thai salad but today is peanut sauce was salty . Hopefully next time pls don't put too much salt or too much soy sauce in it .

Funny to call a place "Taste" when the food is so bland and flavorless, especially for the money they charge.

Came here with the hubby before we did some shopping. He got a sandwich and I settled on the winter farm stand salad with a watermelon crunchy water. The water was interesting, but I really liked it. The salad was amazing. The whipped goat cheese was so delightful. I could eat a whole bowl of that by itself. I actually want to go back and see if they sell little tubs of it. I need it all the time, on literally everything. The salad also had candied pecans, pears, beets, candied tangerines maybe, and tangerine dressing. It was so refreshing and amazing. We ordered at the counter and the lady was helpful and friendly. They had a cold refrigerated section of drinks to choose from or you could get a fountain drink of boylans soda. I love boylans, but I wanted a fancy refrigerated drink so I chose crunchy water. It intrigued me. I liked it. We ordered and paid and then got our little number thing and went to find a table. They brought our food to us shortly. The cafe was so cutely decorated and was clean. I can't wait to come back here. I need tons more of that whipped goat cheese in my life.

I will NEVER understand how this little bit of meat is worth the $10-15 you're paying per sandwich. Ordered the Virginian and removed the tomatoes and banana peppers. Was supposed to have prosciutto on it but mine did not. Had the smallest, thinnest piece of lettuce. Truly not worth the money

I went with a friend today to grab some quick dinner. We grabbed our cups and went to get lids and straws and whatever. It was my first time ever coming to taste and therefore unfamiliar with the layout, like where there may be other trashcans besides the ones right next to the drink fountains. I saw three trash bins with the two outer ones saying closed and the one in the middle said nothing. Naturally, I threw my straw and lemon into the trashcan unlabeled. Unaware that there were other trashcans to use, because I have never been there before. I used it and this elder lady with medium brown, shoulder length hair, that im guessing is the assistant manager or something came up with a disgusting passive aggressive tone and literally scolded me in front of everybody. I told her "it doesn't say closed on the middle bin." Never been there before had no idea I was supposed to use another trashcan. She continues yelling, then proceeds to say "how come everybody does that!" Clearly, I am not the only one who has done this. Regardless, I have never in my life been scolded like that by some random restaurant worker. If I was spoken to like a person I would've offered to throw the trash bag out myself. I have worked in the service industry for 8 years and know how frustrating customers can be and have never spoken to someone with such a disgusting, demeaning attitude. What a shame too, food was good but because of this lady I will never be back.:(

I love their sandwiches typically, however, the PRICE. I don't know if they've just increased their prices or what, but a meal for myself, my husband, and my toddler is right around $40... that just seems extreme for some sandwiches, a fountain drink, and a bag of chips!! They no longer do the 1/2 sandwich option which is disappointing as well.

Was in town for a business meeting and the host brought lunch in from Taste. I had the curry chicken salad and absolutely loved it!!!

Our wedding was at The Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, VA on August 20th 2022. We had started to plan our wedding April of 2021 so we had a lot of time to plan and pay for everything before the wedding. Taste was our first choice on the vendor list and we were so thankful for them because right from the get go they were able to help break down the pricing, helping us pick out our food for our guest, the taste testing was absolutely amazing as well! Our wedding was completely taken care of as they took care of changing over the venue from the ceremony to the reception and catered to all of our guest very professionally. I know all of our guest were highly impressed by them as made the change over look effortless and really took care of us all night long as the wedding couple making plates and getting drinks for us. Not to mention making plates for later and packing all of our leftovers and we really didn't have to do anything. They took care of our bars and had very professional bar tenders make all of our drinks for all of our guest. I will say you have to book Taste (and work with Amanda she's the best) for your wedding. We had 103 guest attend and everyone complimented us about the quality of the food served, drinks and service they received as our guest.

I went to Taste and had an excellent hot Turkey sandwich a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday I went back, it was TERRIBLE! . It had cold scraps of turkey and the French bread was hard, cold and they turned the bread over so you couldn't see it was the end of the loaf!!!! I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone!!! It is over priced and food is inconsistent !

Ordered chicken pot pie soup! Flavor was fantastic BUT chicken was very tough and woody! Need to use air chilled chicken. Hope you care enough to pay attention.
