As real as it gets, a hole in the wall but don't let it fool you; brush up on some pronubciation and at least make an attempt.HIGHLY recommend the Tacos de Birria Con Consome, melts on your mouth with the delicious broth. Loaded fries are indeed loaded, and the street corn is a great appetizer.Service is excellent, always on top of our table and food was hot and fast.

Finally, we got to eat here. I've had this place on my radar for years! Their restaurant sits in a small strip mall that's clearly been around for a while and deserves a remodeling. It's pretty small but pretty busy. We were able to snag a booth for the 3 of us. Between the 3 of us we ordered:childrens chicken fingers with french fries, mushroom quesadilla, tierea y mar platillo, elote corn, and stuffed chile relleonos. Service was great. The food came out fast and delicious!

Very authentic Mexican food. Arrived at 4:30 had a 15 minute wait. Got my name on the waitlist while my husband tried to find parking. As expected, the drinks, salsa, food were excellent. I don't know our server name, but he was on top of it even as busy as he was.

Outside of this place looks terrible. It does not seem like a place you'd want to bring your family based upon just seeing what it looks like from the outside however, once you get in you are greeted by the kindest hostess and typically seated pretty quickly, even on a taco Tuesday. While the red sauce is spicy and they don't have the typical Virginia white sauce, the food is delicious. Recommend a burrito or the classic fajitas. Even my 20 month old was loving the steak. I had no idea that this place would be somewhere that I would ask to go, we are pretty loyal foodies, and our normal Mexican places is right around the corner but it was really good to switch it up and try something new. Ironically, both are called La Hacienda. Actually there's 4 in a 5 mile radius. We may have to try the other two to compare. This one does have a store front as well, but we didn't go inside that section.

This is my new go-to for Mexican food and margaritas. SO good. The margaritas come in 2 sizes. A 22 ounce and a 32 ounce. They're fantastic but I definitely recommend you have a designated driver, even if you just get the "small" one. I got the frozen margarita with sangria. I also had the Birria empanadas and a pork tamale. My friend had the California burrito and also thought it was excellent.
