If you want THE BEST TRES LECHES CAKE IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD?! Go no further! Mi amiga Maria surprised me with one of these delights for my birthday, and it was all I could do not to stab everyone that tried to come near this cake with my fork! I turned into a demonic creature, it was the greatest, most delicious, moist, fruit filled wonderful cake I have ever had in my entire life, and I did not even mind turning one year older. Bring on my next birthday, por favor, just so I can get another cake!

Jessy's Tacos and Tequila is located along Oceana Blvd. You can access the shopping center where it's located by turning at the traffic light with Eaglewood Dr. If you've been around a while here, it's at the other end of the center from where Surf Rider Restaurant used to be located. There was ample parking available during this visit. My visit here was on October 4, 2023.I had seen info about this place in the past, but hadn't had a chance to get around to trying the place out until recently. They weren't busy at the time, but that was no surprise since it was in the middle of the afternoon. The décor inside definitely gives Mexican vibes.When we came in, we were immediately greeted and seated. The server came over and asked what we wanted to drink and then brought out chips and salsa. The chips are freshly made and are corn chips, not tortilla chips. They don't have the white sauce that many in this area are aware of. After the drinks were brought back to the table, we noted that we wanted to go ahead and do the cheese queso dip. After the chips and queso dip came out, we were ready to order. I went with the Taco Salad with chicken as the protein. My mom went with the Chimichanga Fajita entrée with beef.The corn chips were really good. The queso was as well. It was devoured quite well by us. The good thing too is since we did get the queso, we got another round of chips included too (otherwise, there is an additional charge for more chips). Around ten minutes later, our meals came to the table. They both looked really good and was time to partake in them.The taco salad was really good. I liked that it had avocado in it as well. I did omit the jalapeños though, as some times they can be hell-a-peños. There was good flavor to this entrée as well. My mom liked her Chimichanga Fajitas as well.One thing I want to note is that this restaurant has a store (bodega) next door. You can find quite a few things there as well, including Mexican inspired items and products.Overall, this was a very good first experience here. One of the things I have been doing is to control sugars and carbs. The corn chips and other items I had in this visit did not cause any spike in my blood sugar levels too, so that was awesome. There were no issues with food or service. The only thing afterwards is that yes, as others have said, the prices tend to be on the higher side, but that seems to be the norm around these parts these days. If you're looking for another Mexican food place to try out, this place is worth checking out.

Came here after arriving in town pretty late for a work trip. We were all tired and starving and this place really hit the spot. They were very accommodating to our group of about 6 or 7, and service was attentive and pretty quick despite our large group. They weren't crowded as we came near closing time, but with big groups that still often seems to slow things down. Not here! The tacos were a delight -- really full of the meat filling and seasoned quite nicely. I got a double house lime margarita and it tasted like pineapple, which was weird. Didn't love it. However, they have taco Tuesday happy hour where it's legit buy one taco get one free. I absolutely made sure we came back on Tuesday to enjoy this amazing taco deal. We once again came with a big group (10 of us I think) and service was attentive and efficient. Tacos were still incredible, full of the meats. I can't remember which margarita I ordered, but I ordered a different one, still traditional lime flavor, and it was delicious. If I lived in town I would be here every Tuesday.

I went there for lunch during the week with my husband and a friend. It was not busy. There is plenty of parking because it is in a shopping plaza. It's big with plenty of tables and booths. Brightly decorated which I loved. We had awesome service by Celia?. She was very accommodating and friendly. I had a lunch special - chicken fajitas. My husband had a huge burrito and our friend had the tuna tacos. The food came out fast and was fresh. They didn't have a whole lot of lunch specials....maybe 5. But the menu is quite large. We did get chips and salsa and they were delicious. The chips were not out of a bag and tasted homemade and the salsa had lots of flavor! Loved it. Definitely a solid choice for Mexican Food.

5 STAR catering experience that was a 10/10 and I will use again. Highly recommend to anyone that is hosting an event. I used Jessy's to cater my retirement party at a beach house rental. Everything about this experience was amazing. From the moment I spoke with Jorge up until when the food arrived, on time and was perfectly set up, I was never worried or concerned. Communication was convenient with text and phone calls that never went unanswered. Now for the food, we went with the taco bar three meat package for 40-45 people and it was amazing! Hot, fresh and of course absolutely tasty. It came with everything you'd want for a taco dinner at any Mexican restaurant to include chips and dips. Thank you Jorge for such a great experience with this Jessy's location. Sorry I didn't take pictures, I was too hungry, hahaha.

Honestly mad at myself for not leaving a review sooner! We make the drive out here only for their California burritos! They're THAT good! Not sure who the psycho paths were at the other restaurants we've been to but Jessy's knows you put FRIES IN THE BURRITO!Other food looks bomb too!
